Pope Benedict XVI called Tuesday for a new world financial order guided by ethics, dignity and the search for the common good in the third encyclical of his pontificate.

In “Charity in Truth,” Benedict denounced the profit-at-all-cost mentality of the globalized economy and lamented that greed had brought about the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression.

“Profit is useful if it serves as a means toward an end,” he wrote. “Once profit becomes the exclusive goal, if it is produced by improper means and without the common good as its ultimate end, it risks destroying wealth and creating poverty.”

  3. Nothing personal Ula. People have cataloged most all the animals on the earth. There’s no dragon to be found, the closest thing we have to leviathan is Nessie and not a thing close to resembling the beasts of revelations. Either the prophets needed to lay off the hooka or they were talking about something else.

    The Catholic Church is an Invention by Mankind and shares its History of Parasitism with other Crime Networks, like the judeo-masonic Cabal, over Centuries. Fighting one another in the Night-Time and betraying Mankind in Alliance in the Daytime. The Trick is that all Crime Networks do, or at least promise to do,a lot of good things for people and for the world as well, thus covering up
    their evil Agenda, and generating many Adherents. Millions of good People fall for the Trick.
    Privilege, Bribery and Blackmail do an additional good job for keeping “Middle-Management” in Line.
