Three of the best tools that exist to provide the public with the “411” on vaccine injury are the trilogy of Vaxxed documentaries: Vaxxed: From Cover-up to Catastrophe (2016), Vaxxed II: The People’s Truth (2019), and Vaxxed III: Authorized to Kill (2024). Together, the films provide a shocking portrait of the extensive devastation caused by vaccines, the government and media corruption deployed to bury that story, and (in Vaxxed III) the broader context of government-sanctioned and -incentivized medical murder.

Polly Tommey (director of CHD.TV and host of the weekly Financial Rebellion) and Dr. Brian Hooker (Children’s Health Defense chief scientific officer) were two of the movers and shakers behind the Vaxxed films. Polly and Brian are no strangers at Solari, having been interviewed by Catherine and having appeared in our pantheon of weekly heroes. Polly was also 2022 Hero of the Year.

On July 15, the two had the opportunity—a day that Polly admitted she thought would never come—to provide testimony about vaccine injury on Capitol Hill. The Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs Committee’s Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations (PSI), chaired by Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) with ranking member Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), held a hearing titled “Voices of the Vaccine Injured.” Polly (01:18:04–01:23:32) and Brian (01:07:15–01:12:34), who both have adult sons with severe autism requiring 24/7 care, were two of five individuals invited to tell their family’s story of vaccine injury and to share additional remarks in response to questions from Sen. Johnson.

The PSI is tasked with “studying and investigating the compliance or noncompliance with rules, regulations and laws, investigating all aspects of crime and lawlessness within the United States which have an impact upon or affect the national health, welfare and safety”—and Polly’s and Brian’s testimony certainly drew out the lawlessness that characterizes the U.S. vaccine program, including (this was the central story told in Vaxxed) the infamous destruction of vaccine-unfavorable data by CDC. Discussing CDC “cherry-picking” of data, Brian stated:

“There is a hole in the science around vaccines and autism that you can drive a Mack truck through. You can’t just look at one vaccine [the MMR] and one component [thimerosal] and then wave your pixie dust and say they’re safe…. That is just not how science works.”

Polly emphasized that pediatricians get bonuses for vaccinating children—with Brian adding that the bonuses can add up to $1 million or more annually. Said Polly, “pediatricians’ ‘advice’—their lies—are killing a lot of children.” Pointedly directing a question at the assembled senators, Polly also brought up the wider societal implications of vaccine injury:

“Who is going to look after our children when we, the parents, are no longer around? [Our children who] can’t use a toilet, that will never date … They will never pay taxes. They need 24-hour care because of one vaccine, one moment in time.”

When she worked as an investment advisor, Catherine learned that vaccine injury can bankrupt a family. Brian told the senators that he has to spend $25,000 to $50,000 out of pocket annually on nonreimbursable care for his son.

Apparently for “balance,” two additional witnesses testified at the hearing—adamantly pro-vaccine individuals who shared stories of sibling and child deaths attributed to flu. Given what we know about inaccurate cause-of-death reporting on death certificates, as well as the routine fudging of influenza mortality data, it is impossible to know whether flu was indeed the cause of death in these cases or whether vaccination or other variables might have played an unrecognized role.

Another vaccine-injured witness, anesthesiologist Robert Sullivan, stated that he remains bullish about what he perceives as the historical achievements of vaccination, despite incurring heart failure from a Covid mRNA shot. Sen. Johnson wryly advised him to read Dr. Suzanne Humphries’ Dissolving Illusions and the CHD book, Turtles All the Way Down: Vaccine Science and Myth to gain insights into distortions in the historical record. We commend Senator Johnson for doing his homework, listening to the stories, and persistently trying to bring the issue of vaccine injury into the limelight.

An honorable mention for pushback goes to first-term Senator Bernie Moreno (R-OH), who made a plea for corporate and executive accountability and stated that he ran for office due to the “real damage done to real people” during Covid, including via forced vaccination.
