In the war in Iraq, our military forces expended approximately 70 million rounds per year. In March DHS ordered 750 million rounds of hollow point ammunition. It then turned around and ordered an additional 750 million rounds of miscellaneous bullets including some that are capable of penetrating walls. This is enough ammunition to empty five rounds into the body of every living American citizen. Is this something we and the Congress should be concerned about?
~Army Major General Jerry Curry (Ret)
This is a big deal. Especially, the type of ammo, small arms that will be used. Which indicates an up close and personal means of delivery. Note, what gUMMINT agencies have gotten a share of this ammo, Social Security, NOAA, Silly Walks?? Since when do these agencies need small arms training? Plus, the amount of ammo is astronomical. A good way to get someone hurt, is give them a weapon, they don’t know how to use. But, there is another take on this. Typically, people / organizations that have no idea on how to store and use firearms, invariably have these resources stolen. It happens to our military all the time. Asymetric warfare rule #1 is to steal resources form larger better armed occupying forces. So, this may be a method to foment bloodshed amongst the minion classes of FedGov.Inc and the general public. Ammo is a form of currency in all the hot spots around the world. How, are these agencies going to protect that much wealth? A .40 cal JHP pistol rounds are $1.02 .
