“Agriculture is our wisest pursuit, because it will in the end contribute most to real wealth, good morals and happiness.”
~ Thomas Jefferson
By Corey Lynn and James White
There was a time in this nation’s history when families were more united, when there was less homelessness, and when talk of potential famine was virtually non-existent. That time in our history was when the majority of Americans were farmers. When we say “majority,” keep in mind that some estimates put the number of Americans who lived at, worked at, or owned a farm in the early 20th century at or above 90%.
With the current state of things, one has to wonder if the “good old days” of family farms are making a comeback. If they do, our guest on this edition of the Solution Series, John Klar, was way ahead of the curve. John was a tax attorney and had been practicing criminal and family litigation for several years when, in 1997, he was stricken with undiagnosed Lyme disease. He and his wife Jackie purchased a former dairy farm in Vermont’s remote Northeast Kingdom and began farming. John not only became aware of where his food came from but also learned about how laws and economic favoritism for industrial farming undermine small farms as well as food safety and freshness.
In June 2023, John released his book titled Small Farm Republic: Why Conservatives Must Embrace Local Agriculture, Reject Climate Alarmism, and Lead an Environmental Revival (Chelsea Green Publishing) with a foreword by Joel Salatin. When it comes to farming, John is ahead of the pack and has displayed all of the courage necessary to battle the forces that oppose him. Take the time to listen to or watch this interview—you will not be disappointed!

Totally awesome interview!!!
I went to the local Food Lion in Rutherfordton, NC at 10:30pm with a coin purse. I tried every category of meat in their meat department. The Smithfield 1lb package of ground pork was magnetic!
So I called the USDA Meat hotline. The outsourced CSR manning the public interface told me that his supervisors had warned him that any callers saying that the meat was magnetic – were lying and wrong… and that magnetic meat was not possible.
SO, I red pilled him from another angle and we ended the call with him heading off to watch “Died Suddenly…:))” and learn about the hydrogel conspiracy.
A month before this, I heard now “climate czar”John Kerry’s comment that “seizing farms was not out of the question.” So I tracked his ass down at a “fake” office in the Dept of State and left him two scathing messages… and after that his voicemail box was full for the next few days. He’s a paper tiger. He doesn’t have any admin support and he’s never there. Along the way I crawled all over their phone system and got dirt on him and gave the DOS staff red pill light…
I bought a gun and shot 3,000 rounds in 02/2020. I’m starting regular practice again at a range one town over soonest.
You all keep me going!!!!!!!!!
Guys one of the best you have done. Great job Cory and James. Big Ag Big Chemical, yep. USDA is not there for health, look at their mandates, look at Standard American Diet and that most drs who give advice on food will hand you the SAD way of eating. Worth noting, schools, hospitals, any public facility is locked into the Standard America Diet. It is a sham how the USDA controls this by stacking the committee. See Miss Nina at Nutritional Coalition. Yes, get rid of subs and corn for fuel. Yes Farm work is hard, I know firsthand, I farm 1 ac of veggies. It is critical Cory to learn how to grow and learn animals as well. Teach your kids to grow food, fish, hunt and learn about nature. Yes Regen Ag is a huge deal, which fully implemented includes animals. https://www.nutritioncoalition.us/the-issue
