  3. I seem to recall that in the Report, Catherine said that during the [1930’s?] depression, some 3,800 local currencies were in use in the USA.
    This seems and important experiment in monetary theory.
    Is there a link to a paper or something?

          1. I think I got the last copy, but only ships to USA, so this will take a few weeks to get here.
            I’m thinking that local communities use money more efficiently, and without the skim overhead. Should make interesting reading. I’m also guessing no usury in the community, but that remains to be seen.

  4. Catherine seemed to be implying that the Catholic Church used things told to priest in confession to coerce and extort behavior they want, similar to the deep state. If this ever happened it would be such a massive violation of the seal of confession that they could not keep it secret. Do you have any proof of this. (Disclaimer, I would not put anything past the Conciliar church of the new world order. I am talking about the traditional Church, pre Vatican 2.

    1. Yes, the Catholic Church used confessions to collect intelligence and create rules for the people. One classic example is when women would confess about wanting to smother their infants because they had so many children and did not want more. The priests came up with the entire “safe sleep” concept that lives on today where mothers were not allowed to co-sleep in fear they might “accidently” smother their child.
      Today this is rule is reinforced by pediatricians who fish around for details at every well visit to see if you’re breaking the cardinal rule of safe sleep: (A: alone, B: back, C: crib). This is total nonsense by the way. Anyone who has ever slept next to their own baby knows it is absolutely impossible to do that because its the lightest sleep you’ll ever get in your life. I doubt anyone gets into REM next to a baby!

      I have never researched. I simply grew up with many around me who held important positions managing resources talking on the assumption that this is how it all worked. It was just considered to be the way things were. And the NSA and telecommunications were changing it.

There was a great cartoon representation on fraternal organizations and how workers (specifically miners, I think) would band together to hire a doctor to treat workers and their families but I can’t find the link. I think that I originally saw it on Corbett but can’t find it there. Anyone remember this?
