    1. So much conflicting information. This much I know: in North Carolina, it is the NC Department of Public Safety — not FEMA — that is coordinating incoming aid and supplies; they have stated that unless folks have prior permission to drive into the state they will likely be turned away at check points. But I think they are being fairly generous with the permission, because tons of stuff has been collected and driven down there by people from our area (VA) and many other neighboring areas. Musk, as usual, appears to be grandstanding a bit, particularly about the benefits of Starlink in an emergency. Who could possibly benefit from that…?

  2. How can the state of Tennessee be made to send their national guard troops to a foreign country when there is necessity to protect the homeland. Even if they have been training for a year to “possibly” be sent into foreign conflict, shouldn’t the sudden need to protect and defend the American people take precedence? This seams so like treasonous acts.

  5. Re: Western NC- I live in Alleghany county. We had 14″ of rain, high winds, lots of trees on houses, cars and roads. Many roads undercut and some mudslides blocking roads. Some areas still without power a week later. I know of one Solari subscriber in Ashe county which was hit harder than Alleghany. I’ve been trying to contact her but getting no response.Starting to get concerned because she lives next to Horse Creek.We have a small loose knit circle, Blue Ridge Solari, and we have been checking in with each other to see what’s needed. Reports from Foscoe/Boone are even worse. 21″of rain and severe flooding with mudslides. Power will be out for a while and bridges/roads will need to be rebuilt. U.S. Rep Virginia Foxx lives a mile from Foscoe so I suspect rebuilding will be underway soon.

  7. Dr. Ron Paul knows more than Kucinich about the monetary system. He and Kucinich aligned on thenmonetary and war issues. It’s a shame he wasn’t elected when he was running.
