In 2015, Linda Moulton Howe and I spoke on a panel at the Secret Space Program in Bastrop, Texas. I told the story of representatives of the United States Navy trying to persuade me in 1998 that extraterrestrial aliens exist and live among us—see my description at 1:48:40. However, mine is not the most fascinating story I have heard of a person unexpectedly introduced to this topic. Indeed, that honor belongs to Linda.
From 1978 to 1983, Linda Moulton Howe was Director of Special Projects at KMGH-TV, Channel 7, Denver, Colorado, with numerous documentaries and features to her credit. A graduate of the University of Colorado and Stanford University, Howe was on the fast track to a highly successful career in journalism and major media.
In 1980, Linda produced A Strange Harvest—a documentary that explored cattle mutilation incidents, including the belief of ranchers and local sheriffs that the mutilations were the work of extraterrestrial beings. This was a story that many reporters and producers had avoided or censored. Not Linda—she decided to apply her formidable skills to analyzing cattle mutilations and the UFO phenomenon. Linda established herself as an independent journalist and—with a significant body of work to her name—is now widely considered one of the most preeminent UFO investigators in the world.
Linda’s books are an outstanding compilation of detailed investigation, photographs, and documentation. No serious library on this topic is complete without them:

I asked Linda to join me on The Solari Report because I wanted to help document Linda’s incredible journey. I also want Solari Report subscribers to be inspired by Linda’s courage. Here is a person deeply committed to reality and the power of rational thinking and investigation to get to the heart of things.

Howe is such a shameless self-promoter, it’s a bit off-putting. And that ad for the Old Gray Lady really had my jaw on the floor. Now I want a debate with Rappoport and Howe on Resolved: the NYT is the paper of record.
In the world that Linda and I once inhabited, the NY Times was one of the icons. I remember when I lead a team that got “the impossible financing” done, the deal got an article and I got a mention on Page 1 of the NY Times. That was the equivalent of hitting the Trifecta.
I was able to let go and walk away. I watched the NY Times do highly unethical, horrible things…not to mention material omissions that had devastating effects.
I sympathize with those who can not – it is a lot of people, including good people. Unfortunately, I feel it is a trance we must break to make progress. Many who go independent hold out hope of working their way back in – the blessings of my background is I knew I had burned my boats and did not look back. I always believed that was part of what got Gary Webb killed…he kept trying to work his way back onto the Tapeworm’s ladder. Best to leave them behind and make your own way.
I think some of what you refer to as self promotion is what happens when you are pushing up against headwinds and trying to make things go as an independent.
Howe’s accomplishments are significant. It is an important body of work and took real courage. One of the things I have noted for years is how much her work is taken by others without attribution, even stolen in violation of copyright.
Her 40+ year career in journalism was a ‘boots on the ground’ thing where people DID have character and integrity. So she most likely identifies with who she was around the most – other people like her. That said, she did miss The NY Times as fake news. Agreed.

Great interview and perspectives!! I read von Dannigan’s Chariots of the Gods n the early ‘70’s. It wasn’t that Our Creator was an alien … but that many Bible characters & stories could be explained this way. Made sense and have always kept an open mind that there was much more to the story.
Fast forward to now. Narcissists do not have a empathy for others and that affects about 5-8% of the population. No empathy, no feelings of guilt and a strong sense of entitlement. I am now open to them being from an alien heritage. Could it be? How else does one explain such a huge segment of the population NOT having empathy for others?
2% of people have green eyes. 7% of males are color blind to some extent. And up to 8% do not have empathy nor feel guilt the same way that most of us feel. AND therapy, education nor awareness will NOT cure these people (ie, correct narcissism or other Cluster B behaviors).
As for poor Mr Forrestal, he could have been drugged with LSD and the either hallucinated the preying manta or even had some mind controller freak in a costume. OR it could have been the real thing. And ALL scenarios make him appear to be crazy. RIP for a good man doing the right thing.
You and Linda provided such great insights and opportunities to consider other avenues.

I did … listened to it twice. It was very helpful to hear and consider ALL of the options you outlined, including that there may be multiple and overlapping explanations; from a complete mind hoax to time travel (that one is hard to me to grasp) to multiple and even competing aliens. That one would actually explain a lot. And your final thought that ‘I don’t know but it’s NOT what we’ve been taught …’ was exactly spot on. Maybe the Earth is just one big petri dish …
For sure there is no stable governance system on planet earth. Unfortunately, someone seems to think we can depend on AI to do that. Hmmm….

IMO The swamp can not get AI to where they want it to go without hooking us up to teach the AI – and to leave our telepathic/intedimensional intelligence. To the extent we stay unhooked and access our powers, this can shift in very positive ways.
