  1. Bert:

I agree that food safety laws and regulations are being used to promote control of the food suppy and depopulation. I had not thought about Pollan as a shill for that as his writing is so clearly against corporate farming etc. I will rethink as I value your opinion and there is no doubt that progressives are often used and misused this way,

  2. It’s the “Pincers Strategy” being employed… and its being employed everywhere, as it was so successful in Communist Russia. They control both sides of the pincer, or vice). Bush represented the forces from above, now Obama represents the forces from below (i.e. victim groups, fake-opposition actors, controlled nonprofit organizations and foundations, etc.). People think the actors are legitimate cause they are promoted as small, unfunded, and of-the-people. Code Pink and People for the American (PFAW) are great examples of this…. but there are many more.

Anatoli Golitsyn discusses this in his writings… a former Soviet intel officer who defected, albeit, he may not be credible. And Gary Allen in his book, “None Dare Call It Conspiracy,” also presents the concept and explains it.

But once you see the strategy, it won’t be too hard to recognize it in-play just about everywhere you look these days. Kinda makes one re-evaluate their opinion of the entire “alternative” media.

he may believe the incorrect information on the first day of
the eighth year when it is necessary, from your point of

the most liberal [United States] is the country in which the technique
of thought direction is, by its perfection, the closest to totalitarian
practices, and is the country in which people, accustomed to living in
groups, are most inclined to leave it to the experts to fix lines of spiritual conduct.”

  5. Interesting Bert,

I certainly don’t disagree with you generically. Numerous organizations, institutes, studies etc. created and designed by big multi national corporations that basically just lie to us about any dangers of their products, envirnmental controls, manufacturing concerns, etc. Further, I whole heartedly agree with you that there are numerous organizations, typically non profits that on the surface seem to be genuine to some “cause”. But when you dig a little, the funding comes from “somebody” either trying to make a buck or enhance their comtrol of people.

I have a lot of respect for your comments and I did note that you said the shilling by Pollan was subtle. Here’s the transcript of an interview with him recently. Can you break it down for us – how you see it.

Here are a couple of books that I have read that one might find interesting.

  6. Doug,

Interviews in controlled media like this are generally recruitment vehicles to join a given point-of-view: “a victim’s group”.

The bigger picture here is that this guy is part of a larger effort to establish a “victims group” to act as a force whereby political correctness on health and eating can be promulgated (ie. “food correctness”). Once this element of “correctness” is successfully inserted into the mass consciousness, the public will monitor its own behavior, which is subtly controlled and manipulated by the “victims group(s).”

The “History of Political Correctness” documentary by William Lind describes the techniques and its roots being from the Frankfurt School of Social Research (the video is on Google video last time I checked).
