“The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew. My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.” ~ Proverbs 3:19

By Catherine Austin Fitts

A wonderful Solari Report subscriber sent in a question: “Why are you an optimist?” I started to answer in the Ask Catherine segment of my weekly Money & Markets commentary, but then I realized that the question deserved a more thoughtful response. So, as the year draws to a close, I describe why I am an optimist.

One reason is because I was born with the power to invent my world. When I exercise that power, all of creation is available to help—angels, birds, trees, people. Our shared living intelligence and the divine intelligence create civilization together.

When the current round of globalization began, Sir James Goldsmith declared that the establishment had declared war on society. And so it has—2020 was the year when that fact finally became widely obvious. This means that 2021 is a year in which we must wage war. We must do our best despite what have become long odds, now that the establishment has engineered a financial coup d’état and commands invisible weaponry—hidden behind centuries of secrecy—that many of us cannot yet fathom.

First and foremost, this is a spiritual war. One of the greatest weapons that we have in such a war is our faith and its companion, optimism. The philosopher Heraclitus said, “If you do not hope, you will not win that which is not hoped for.” Goethe said, “I love those who yearn for the impossible.” For this holiday season, I have faith in the possibility of “Peace on Earth, Good Will Toward Men” because I am an optimist and because, as a risk manager, I know it to be possible—though not easy. Marcus Aurelius said, “What we do now echos in eternity.” Even if it takes 1,000 years, I’m all in.

Our Christmas season has begun. Check out our Holiday Greetings here. This week, we launch our first Christmas movie and music selections. Then, for the last three weeks of the year, we will publish our picks for Best of the Solari Report while the Solari Report team enters the intense period that leads to our publication of our 2020 Annual Wrap Up in January. The Best of the Solari Report selections will inspire you to enjoy the rich intelligence offered this year.

In Let’s Go to the Movies, our first Christmas movie pick, The Man Who Invented Christmas, is a charming movie about Charles Dickens’ writing of The Christmas Carol. As the central bankers throw the world into the global financial invention room, it’s a good time to dream up the warming of Scrooge’s heart.

  1. Dear Catherine.

Thank you for a wonderful talk and a delightful hour and 20 minutes. It was well worth the wait.

After having listened to Max Igan go on about the horrific future they have in store for us

you have provided me with a much needed antidote.

You made a wonderful point about AI lacking wisdom and optimism helping one find the opportunity. If you’re familiar with the book “Teaching Birds About Flying” it shows how Wall Street’s reliance on models rather than wisdom so often leads to disaster.

I do have a question though and I hope I am not intruding in your personal sphere, but may I ask what kind of encounters could a little 4-1/2 year old girl possibly have with the national security state, intelligence agencies and secret societies?

    1. Andrew:

Children are used extensively for covert operations for secret societies and intelligence agencies. One way or another all members of the tribe are indoctrinated and participate.

Have you been listening to the Solari Report? 🙂

  2. Hi Catherine

I cant thank you enough for your work and sacrifice for all of us. I will be moving to Tennessee soon and spreading the message and doing my part to help build communities of the future.

My question is how do you define spiritual maturity and what is involved with growing up spiritually?

    Thank you again!!
    Kevin

  3. Catherine – It is a joy to get to know you through listening to your wise & knowledgeable commentary and your stories. I am reminded of two sayings that I hold very near and dear. 1) “The unexamined life is not worth living” and 2) the profound wisdom of the Oracle at Delphi, “Know thyself”. You are so accomplished and an extraordinary leader. A truly outstanding example of someone having put the wisdom stated above, into conscious practice. We are so lucky to know you, and have you in our midst…..many, many thanks and good wishes.

    1. Thank you, Ann. You are so kind to say so. More thoughts on this in Ask Catherine this week.

  4. Dear Catherine Austin Fitts:
Your information, intelligence, strength and bravery are extremely comforting and inspiring. Also, your recommendation introduced me to the film “Unstoppable.” I watch it whenever my “cowardly lion” needs to find some courage. I am much obliged.

  5. I’m in Los Angeles too and a new subscriber. So much great content! I too am dealing with family/friends who do not accept any point of view that is different from the mainstream. Some days it feels like I’m in some bizarre world, especially out here in the City of Los Angeles. I keep plowing forward and learning about the world. I try to plant seeds where I can, but it is a hostile environment.

    1. Yes. My comments on M&M tonight may be helpful. Check out the image that we post with it.

  6. Catherine,

Thank you for your optimism. I liked the heart to heart talk to your subscribers. You say that you are are not a minister. I would like to say that your interviews, your testimony, and your Solari Report is your ministry. You talk of Christ Jesus. You talk about how we should… move and have our being… that we can live a free and inspired life. Your favorite passages seem to be the story of Gideon. You minister to us when you tell us this story and then tell us the cold hard facts. You are highly relevant and appropriate, especially in this treacherous socio-economic-political climate; an unprecedented time in American history. You tell us the truth and keep us informed so we can know it, understand it, and face the issues. I like that you laugh or gwaff when talking about what Mr. Global’s minions are doing. For me, I imagine Wile E. Coyote’s out-of-control hubris, trying experiments all the time, and his Acme dynamite kit keeps blowing up in his face. I understand that sense of amusement. Thank you for telling us your life experiences and other stories. It puts things into perspective. In the film, “Enemy of the State”, the principal character was very smart to turn the tables on all the bad characters, and walk out alive with a greater appreciation of how the world is shaked and baked. I believe informed optimism like that will help us to survive this wild wild west.

  7. Thanks Catherine! I appreciate you taking the time to put that long answer together. I am naturally an optimist as well and it’s time to have faith in God and shrug fear, put a smile on and bet on good people doing the right thing. To hell with the odds.
