Blast from the Past: Week of September 26, 2022: The Worricker Trilogy

Together with Whitney Webb’s interview this week for the Solari Report, we recommend this Blast from the Past about an extraordinary action movie trilogy written by David Hare and starring Bill Nighy. The trilogy not only gives you a sample of the levels of organized crime that Whitney is speaking about but also has an uncanny connection to Catherine’s former business partners, as she describes in the commentary. The Worricker Trilogy is definitely one of Catherine’s favorite movies about the intersection of Big Money, Big Business, and the Intelligence Community.

Catherine, I could not find this trilogy. Amazon has it listed as video not available and the DVDs for sale are listed as not compatible with players in the US, imagine that…. Do you have any idea how we could view it in the US?

This appears to be NTSC (US) in DVD and Blu-Ray

It may be your country restrictions. If you can use a VPN and locate yourself in the USA, it may work. Or try on Google:

Hey Ulrike! Got a kick out of your suggestion. I did that a few years ago, so that I could watch a movie on BBC not available in USA. While I was setting up my account with BBC via VPN, they wanted to know my postal code. I freaked out a minute, then went to BBC website and used their postal code. Whew! Great movie. Later, they started requiring paid subscriptions . . .too bad.

Amen! I watched it more than once on the evil Amazon, and now have my own copy. Well worth watching. Thanks for posting this.

Late to the party on this discussion, but I found the series on DVD at our local library.
