Camelot’s Kitchen

Years ago, my dear friend Shoreh was sitting in her elegant Beverly Hills home when a beautiful, white bunny rabbit appeared at her door. Immediately welcomed, the rabbit moved in with Shoreh and her husband Douglas.
The newest member of the household was named “Camelot,” becoming a regular part of the family. Each morning he travels to the local cafe for breakfast with Shoreh, Douglas and their talented neighbors on the avenue.
Having eaten at her home several times, I can attest to the fact that Shoreh is an excellent chef. Over time, Camelot’s vegetable food choices started influencing Shoreh’s cuisine, including her amazing fresh salads. So now we have my new favorite cook book…
Camelot’s Kitchen: Real Salads Inspired by a Real Rabbit
I keep trying to persuade Douglas to produce a movie called “Beverly Hills Bunny” starring Camelot as he hops around LA observing the inner life of the rich and famous. Eddie Murphy could be Camelot’s “voice.”
Douglas use to tease me that he had the smallest mansion in the neighborhood. Apparently Camelot knows that smart bunnies chose their home based not on their size, but for the love inside them.
Let’s hear it for great fresh food too!

Dear God, poor friggin rabbit. Still, I guess it can thank it’s lucky stars it’s not factory-farmed. We live in a topsy-turvy world.

I don’t see any pictures of angry/abused bunnies there. The rabbit seems to be having fun. 😉

Sure, if you project human ideas of “fun” onto animals. Perhaps riding a bike and wearing glasses is what every rabbit aspires to.
Hardly a big issue of course, just not my cup of cutsie tea.

A message from Camelot:
We are having a book signing at The Book Soup in West Hollywood on
June 18th at 7:00PM. The Book Soup is one of the best book stores in the
city so we are very excited. If your network here would be interested, please let them know.
