Good morning Catherine,
Last night, during your interview with George Noori, a listener called and the conversation turned around something that sounded like the “State and Federal Consolidated Reports.” I was half asleep and grasped just a portion of it. I recall that you said something like if we would read these reports that is would give us a good idea of federal/state funds spending, etc. Can you please tell us the right names if these reports, and if you may, tell us how to get a hold of them?
Thaking you in advance, I am looking forward to your answer.
Last night on Coast to Coast AM Catherine talked about a report called something like Consolidated Annual Financial and getting economics back to county level. I would love to see that report but I cant find so I must not be right on the name of it. Where can I get information on how to get active and what to do on the county level.

CAFR is a good google search parameter.
Consolidated Annual Financial Reports.
Thanks, Richard!
Here is an example of links that I did once as an example for a group interested in mapping the money in Kalispell, Montana. It includes links to the CAFRs at the state website.

The CAFRS are often found on the state and local government websites. If you can’t find them, check with the state or local economic development authority or the Treasurer/Comptroller offices.

What is your take on the current big bank mergers and meltdowns.
Should we all be in commodities, gold, and foreign currencies like Swiss?
How do I listen to your radio programs here is Seattle area?
Special thanks to the listener who posted a show transcript. As Coast to Coast is a subscription service after the initial live show, we have decided not to post.
