Congratulations to Congressman Kaptur

Our hero this week on the Solari Report is Congressman Marcy Kaptur of Ohio. She just won her 17th Congressional term by a landslide. Smart, honest, hardworking, well educated, she cares tremendously about her constituents and her obligations to the American people. Her understanding of the economy and how to build wealth in her regional area is outstanding. Her staff is capable and attentive.
There is nothing more important than excellence of leadership in all things – whether big or small. So it matters a great deal to the people of Toledo that Kaptur represents them. There are a lot of excellent people working hard in government. I’m glad they are still there fighting for the right things. It makes a difference.
I once persuaded a devout Republican to come listen to Kaptur speak. He complained that she had socialist leanings but came anyway. After he heard her proposals for financial responsibility he wrote a generous donation on the spot. That’s because if you run the money clean, 80% of idealogical debates go away.
It’s the same thing I say to my neighbors in a highly segregated area – If we could just collaborate about the government money, we could hate each other rich instead of hating each other poor.
