Currently rereading the books of Joseph. He is a virtuoso in connecting dots. Sadly, I was too fractured to understand what I was reading at the time, but after 20 years of stiching myself up and having become a bit more mature, his books are one hell of a read.
Connecting dots is fun and by reading his books it does rub off, which I consider a very good thing.

I find that with Dr. Farrell’s books, I often have to take a pause to let things sink in, and reflect on the connections. They are worth re-reading. And, as he explains, the separate books are really pieces in a very wide story arc. Together, to me, they provide a lot of explanation of why the world is in the state it is in. If we are to understand it, we have to cast our net very wide, and Dr. Farrell is showing in which directions: Physics, finance, breakaways, deep history, theology.
