First Kenguru Electric Vehicle Rolls Off the Line in Pflugerville
The Kenguru electric vehicle designed to be driven in a wheelchair
The first Kenguru—the small, yellow electric vehicle designed to be driven in a wheelchair—was unveiled Thursday in Pflugerville, several years after Community Cars founder Stacy Zoern first saw the design for the car online.
“I knew it was going to change my life as soon as I saw it,” said Zoern, who has been in a wheelchair her entire life.
