Engdahl begins with the US-Russia confrontation in Georgia and then takes us through the recent politics of oil and US military policy as the US asserts dominance in Eurasia. The goal? The US must make sure that China and Russia do not surpass the power of the traditional Anglo-American alliance.
For anyone interested in how the Slow Burn works, how the military holds the dollar up and the risks that rising levels of centralized force create, this is a valuable read.

Agree,…always very good information from Mr. Engdahl, but to my mind the Goal is not, that traditional Anglo-American alliance stays Nummer 1, the goal is to turn this alliance into a 3 World Status, ( ” They have given up on America, a long time ago already ” ) to facilitate a One World Government in the long Run….So: There has never been an actual american War-machine, but a quasi UN-Warmachine, payed by the duped US-Taxpayer.Post World War 2 Wars were all cleverly designed in a Way, that America spends and spends money, that she does not even have, in order to loose all its Wars and all Sympathies.
