“About 32 leading men of the community,” according to the original minute book, assembled December 24, 1883, in Malvern Hall for the purpose of “starting a National Bank of Malvern.”
The Willits Family, direct descendants of Charles C. Highley, original Cashier, still lead the Bank today.
Jamie Bartholomew Aller, daughter of Lydia Willits Bartholomew grew up in West Chester, PA. She received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University, magna cum laude, in Political Economics, in 2002, followed by a M.Sc. in Comparative Social Policy from Oxford University in 2003, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2006.
Ms. Aller was a Senior Teaching Fellow in the Department of Economics at Harvard University from 2004 – 2006.” She was an corporate associate at the law firm Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, New York, NY from 2006 – 2010. From 2010 – Present, Ms. Aller has worked at the National Bank of Malvern as General Counsel and a Director.
Ms. Aller enjoys running, horseback riding, environmental conservation and real estate investing in her free time.
