Professor Christopher Exley

“At no point during the [ACIP] discussion on HepB vaccination was the true real danger of these vaccines mentioned … that both of the licensed HepB only vaccines include an aluminium adjuvant.”

Professor Christopher Exley

In early December, the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) voted to end its senseless recommendation—in place since 1991—that all newborns receive a birth dose of hepatitis B (HepB) vaccine.

The hazards of newborn HepB vaccination have been apparent for decades. A study published in 2012 revealed “an unusually high rate of hospitalization and death” in infants who had received just one vaccine—the HepB birth dose.

Amid all the hullabaloo about ACIP’s long-overdue reversal, no one bothered to mention the fact that ACIP and the CDC’s boss—the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)—carried out a last-minute bait and switch that kept important and highly relevant science out of the discussion.

As Professor Christopher Exley, PhD, FRSB—the world’s leading aluminum expert—relates at his Substack, HHS asked him to give a talk on aluminum adjuvants at the ACIP meeting. With HHS approval, he assembled a small working group and carefully prepared the talk, but ACIP (not HHS) then abruptly canceled him just one week prior to the meeting.

Exley has explained in his marvelous 2020 book, Imagine You Are an Aluminum Atom, in numerous scientific publications, and at Substack, that infants are extraordinarily vulnerable to aluminum, which “magnifies their predisposition to aluminum administered as an adjuvant in vaccines.” His presentation would have emphasized this in no uncertain terms:

[W]hen a newborn receives a HepB vaccination they are also receiving an acute exposure to aluminium. The ACIP members would have been shown how aluminium adjuvant is taken up by immune-reactive cells and carried through the newborn’s body. [They] would have been shown images of identical cells loaded with aluminium crossing into the brain of an autistic child. [They] would then have to ask themselves the question is this an acceptable outcome of HepB vaccination at birth.”

However, Exley would have gone even further, sharing his considered recommendation that an immediate moratorium on ALL vaccines containing aluminum adjuvants is necessary. Describing the committee’s not-far-enough decision for delayed HepB vaccination as “a half measure at best,” he has concluded:

This is what scared ACIP into cancelling our presentation. When faced with overwhelming science demonstrating the toxicity of aluminium adjuvants they lost their nerve and shied away from telling the truth.”

We salute Professor Exley for continuing to tell the truth in the face of ignominious efforts to silence him—including the shutting down of the lab where his meticulous and hard-won research earned him the nickname “Mr. Aluminum.”
