Hero of the Week: July 25, 2022: Novak Djokovic

Tennis star Novak Djokovic is among the most courageous, authentic, and principled athletes on the world stage today, and he has been able—with calm and politeness—to convey what a free and inspired mind is.

He is a true role model for many young people and athletes and is our hero this week for standing his ground in the freedom to choose not to get the Covid injection. This decision has just resulted in his being excluded from the US Open tournament.

Here is a man who has built the world’s greatest tennis body and will not let media, governments, or his own ego destroy it. He knows that there is more to life than trophies—and he wins them anyway.

Novak Djokovic, who practices the Wim Hof Method, is an amazing man who in addition to working hard to achieve world-class success has also found what it means to be oneself.

  1. What a courageous and independent thinker. I’ve been following his struggle to deal with the Lame Stream Media regarding his choices. May the Force be with him!

  2. Novak is an Incredible inspiration ! I absolutely love this choice for Hero of the Week. This is personal to me as it’s touched me so much so I had to comment.

    I’ve been shunned in my own work life on covid shot mandates including missed going to my Champions Club trip as the #1 producer globally last year because of my refusal to get the shot. It has been on a much much much smaller scale than Novak, but he’s helped me through tough times and feelings of loneliness when all around me despised me while I have continued to stand my ground and my principles in my decision not to get the covid shot. I know he’s inspired so many others like myself.

    Huge fan forever and so very grateful and blessed to have Novak standing up on such a large global stage. I’ve prayed for other tennis players to stand up for Novak and for my coworkers in my own life to stand up for me but sadly those people are few and far between. Maybe with the tide turning and the Great Resist on … more will stand up !

  3. Nole is a great human, so proud of him and the way he lives his life. This is not the first time he stood up for a just cause. I cracked when that guy from BBC asked him: But why???? I thought my friend, this is something you and the likes of you will never be able to comprehend… go Novak! ❤️
