Hero of the Week: September 11, 2023: Senator Frank Niceley
“Thugs don’t believe in gun-free zones.”
We welcome back to Hero of the Week the esteemed Senator Frank Niceley and the whole team of Tennessee legislators who stopped the push for Red Flag laws during the special session in Tennessee. In the process, Senator Niceley took to the floor to remind us about why gun-free zones do not protect citizens. What else is a “gun-free zone” but an invitation to the bad guys to operate freely while outgunning law-abiding citizens? Indeed, the latest reports from the FBI show that gun-carrying citizens do a remarkable job of stopping crimes attempted with guns.
During a special session in August 2023, these stellar lawmakers stood up to protect the people of Tennessee and upheld the Constitution.
Senator Frank Niceley is our Hero for the speech he made, but we also include the legislators who held the line and splendidly stopped some of the shenanigans in their tracks. These warrior legislators are masters of the process and worked with the skill and precision of neurosurgeons.

I just love Sentor Niceley is very smart – brilliant really. He is the nicest most personal guy one would ever want to meet.
One thing more: red flag laws and the subject of the above special session. New Mexico is a red flag state; they have all kinds of restrictions yet a very high crime rate. Even with all the gun restrictions there, Luhan Grisham admittedly violated the NM and Federal constitutions and under her own “emergency” denied law bidding citizens from 2nd amendment rights. Other state governors can do the same, even in TN
