It’s an Ill Wind That Blows No Good

I was reminded tonight that I met a very dear friend as a result of 911. I have been thinking about how many wonderful people have come into my life as a result of the unanswered questions of 911.
I remember the first time that evil touched my intimate world. As we give prayers for those who have died and lost love ones on 911 and in the wars since then, remember that death is not the worse thing that can happen.
Our souls are immortal and, come what may, evil will not have its way with them.

This seems like a good time to give thanks, for being alive. The fact of my aliveness is also something that has nothing to do with the evil in the world.

Catherine,
Thank you for these thoughtful words. It is good to be reminded that indeed our souls are immortal and that in the end we need only to answer to God.I find it uplifting that you, with your impressive credentials and experience, have not lost sight of what ultimately matters.
Maybe, I’ll go out and get that MBA after all!
