Let’s Go to the Movies: Week of March 14, 2022: What Happened in Ottawa? Freedom Convoy 2022 Documentary

“You can’t seal these smiles….”
This week’s movie does not need many words of description. It is a beautiful and uplifting citizen documentary about the Canadian Freedom Convoy and rallies in Ottawa showing the real “vibe” and motivation behind thousands of Canadians coming together for their rights and freedoms.
The contrast with what the old media, riot police, banks, courts, and government displayed could not be more flagrant.
Seeing these citizens—from all walks of life, ethnicities, ages, religions, and professions—supporting, volunteering, speaking out, dancing, stepping up to leadership, and holding their ground in non-violence and love is simply inspiring.

It should be considered illegal for Trudeau to take action against misrepresenting truckers as he did…and then declare it emergency to arrest organizers. It should be illegal for the judge to disallow bail and not have an early hearing. I hope both get voted out of office and replaced by non-Schwab lovers of Canada and Freedom.

Children playing in inflatable bouncy castles, and a winter carnival available for all to attend is what really happened in Ottawa. The public support for the truckers is exceptional. Whatever goods and services they needed, the people happily provided. Important to mention that truckers faced tactics like flaming wooden pallets inserted under their trucks in the middle of the night, before the real physical enforcement rolled in.
