Money & Markets

Who’s Prosecuting the War on People?

On tax day (April 15), Catherine and John argue the Iran war is really a factional “war on people,” highlighting sharply reduced Strait of Hormuz traffic, rising U.S. gas prices, and global cost-of-living stress while oil companies and Wall Street banks profit from war-driven volatility.

  1. Hi Catherine, I have seen your x post some minutes ago about if the World Bank IMF meeting in DC be used to coerce countries short on energy and money to pay their dollar debt in adopting programmable money and the digital control grid?
I think It could be posible, they create the problem and they offer the solution, well in this case for me It IS the worst solution of all with programable money.
What is your take on it? Would be great to know, many thanks for all your work!!

  2. Does it not look like to you….that the entire power structure has become a victim of its own incoherence… That they designed that trap to well and all fell into it themselves …

That they themselves are just mindlessly destroying themselves at this point for no reason…that there is no plan anymore

Thats its just male cave man logic… at this point…”we conquer…it good”

    and it’s all falling apart…

    1. A well thought out plan or trap is subtle… you never see it coming until it’s too late.

This is stupidity on a level we have never seen before…

Huberus… arrogance… suicidal tendencies by the power that are be coming completely unglued

I can’t reconcile this with some master plan …Master plans are precise, exact…planned to the very last detail… this is just chaos (on a hope and a prayer they get this done)

      1. I do think that the system is struggling with the blowback of the incoherence created by both financial and cultural debasement, so I think your point is well taken.

      2. How about this for a master plan, and I doubt it was the trumpster’s idea. The recent attacks on Russia’s oil snd gas infastructure makes this guy’s report especially believable. This is world wide organized crime.

        1. Someone posted a video of his a few weeks ago and his analyses are very well researched and thought out.

Another side to this is China. I watched a podcast which was talking about the severe financial problems in China. They are really in trouble and their plan to save themselves was to flood the world with their products, at deeply discounted prices. This would cause all other nations to go under, because they would, in turn, lose all their industries. I will try to find that video to post.

  3. Happy Monday.

There’s a good bit of Maslow’s Hammer and Guilt by Association fallacy afoot in analysis of events in Iran in addition to the usual propaganda agenda of biased sources. Numerous blind folks touching different parts of the elephant. The past month has certainly been a good vetting ground for sources.

A terse response to the thesis in the Unbekomt Substack piece “The House Always Wins” that nuclear weapons are fake…one word, plasma.

Here’s a different perspective on Iran conflict from Conservative Treehouse. Strongly endorsed by a great friend with extensive boots on the ground experience in the region.

    https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2026/04/12/a-pragmatic-perspective-on-the-iran-conflict/

At the risk of introducing another fallacy: Which is the better tool for analysis at this time, uniparty or rival mafias?

    1. Always appreciate what Sundance has to say. Not sure if I agree with it. Looks like Trump is trying to shut off the oil flow to China. Looks to me like the enrichment concern may not be a bomb but independent energy for a country that represents the primary leakage for the financial control grid.

      1. There are a number of things working simultaneously as was the case in Venezuela. NSS priority of ensuring Iran is durably nuke free is among them in my view.

A thought that came to mind is the risk of wider-spread unrest getting more violent here at home later this year in the run-up to US midterm elections may move in proportion to the perception of Republican electability in November. If “MAGA Splitting Unhinged Trump’s Iran excursion” is a perceived debacle, perhaps those pink and purple haired folks I’ve seen in greater numbers at the gun range over the past year will stand down. Not betting the ranch on that outcome myself as a good stoic. Rather bracing for impact.

Agree that pressuring China is also quite visible in the mix. The actions in Iran are hard leverage toward ending China’s continuing funding of unrestricted warfare within the US. “We’ll permit passage of energy shipments if you change course on critical materials export restrictions and have Neville R. S. stop funding those pink and purple heads.” Taking out Swallwell might also be in this subset of the action plan.

        1. I know there must be one really big story behind the taking out of Swallwell and have not had time to look into it. If you ever see a very good “Real deal on Swallwell” do send it this way.

  4. Hi Catherine,
Don’t know if you have seen today’s statement of von der leyen urging Europe to electrify the European economy asap. Could it be posible she is referring to introducing the digital euro much faster than expected? I think it could be, but I’d like to know your take on it, I suppose they will need to engineer a crisis so that people would accept it, maybe it is the fuel shortages we are about to experience in Europe along with the induced shortages of food and medicines along with other dailyuse items…what a time to be alive!!! Thanks in advance 😊

      1. Absolutely, but with what? On the one hand she & ilk are addicted to the grift of war and on the other the data centers as controll grid is exuberant energy expensive! With all their wars, the energy flows and products that make energy flows possible, are disrupted to an enormous degree. Shure, you can offset some of that with genocides thru famine and what not. In the end it is us, the mundanes they sh*t upon, that sustains it all. I think the “merry go round they created” is very flawed and unsustainable. They made a pact with something that is so anti human it will destroy them too. The AI bubble is starting to burst at a time von der Leyen & ilk needs it most.

        1. Alexandra;
Are you in the UK area and do you follow Ickonic.com? David Icke and his sons.

        2. `Yup. I agree. This is why I think there is a good chance they fail. We have to be ready to lead forward through that failure.
