I am skeptical of him because of the words “sustainable development” in the name of the organization he’s associated with, but he does give great commentary on geopolitics, including knowing the recent (last couple of decades) history of current situations, and seems to have good ideas for simple, easy, diplomatic solutions. Re the shipping crisis – What about the Panama Canal? how is it low if ‘oceans are rising’ – what does a drought have to do with shipping? Why are people being told that the panama canal is blocking shipping from China to California? Could this really be about the weakening of the American Dollar? Could it be the same case for the Suez Canal? make up an excuse for why shipping is going to slow down again, when really the reason is the weakening American dollar?
