  1. I follow your analysis of utilitarian thinking with great interest, and for the most part, I share your concerns:
    When a society invests only in extraction and control, it abandons true development, integrity, and human dignity.

    But there was a moment in the broadcast that made me pause:
    The dismissal of gender expression, brightly colored hair, or fluid identity as ‘useless to society’.

    The reality is more complex. Many of these individuals are reacting — sometimes desperately — to a system that devalues them. But their rebellion is often co-opted.

    The colorful exterior, the radical expression, is increasingly absorbed by a system that appears inclusive, but operates with the same authoritarian logic as old fascism.

    You’re allowed to deviate — as long as it’s within approved narratives. You’re allowed to be ‘diverse’ — as long as you conform to the deeper structures of control: AI, surveillance, digital identity, centralized governance.

    In other words:
    The “anti-productive” forms of expression you criticized can be both a cry of protest and a tool of the new system.

    This is the danger of ultra-utilitarianism in disguise:
    It turns identity, language, even rebellion itself into functional assets — serving a technocratic order that reduces all of us to data points.

    Perhaps the deeper question is not whether something is ‘useful’ — but:
    Is this expression a path to liberation, or is it a screen for a system that thrives on our emotional exhaustion and loss of meaning?

    1. An adult should do whatever they want. Most of the gender expression I see IMO is the result of ingesting significant amounts of mind control. It is not a natural expression. Some may be…so whatever it is, creative experimentation, unique desires, it is theirs to do and their business between them and God – unless they harm someone else. If they try to encourage children to engage in surgery or taking pharmaceuticals, to me that is a criminal act and I have no patience with it or tolerance for it.

    Hace just seen your retweet today about a Spanish MEP asking for Spain to leave NATO, what are your thoughts on it? I live in Spain but don’t have the expertise to try to understand what they pretend with this? But talking into account they are managed by they same people in the end and that Spain, as many other countries, is in a debt trap, I understand this would not be good at all for the Spanish people, if you could shine any light on possible scenarios or reasons for it? Many thanks in advance!!

    1. The future of NATO is fluid. They are asking for budget increases that are likely not feasible. Japan and South Korean cancelling their participation in this week’s meeting is significant. The failure of the war in Ukraine is causing a complete rethinking. It is not clear to me where it is going. So I am watching and listening. You have a system that is not allocating its capital wisely, and force may not be able to keep it going – it can not extract what it needs to keep gping.

        Also quite concerning to me is how they keep promoting de digital euro and make everything possible so that everyday using cash is more difficult, recently all the ATMs that were at each location of a Big magazine in Spain have been removed, and yesteday when I went to a different ATM to withdraw cash they released the message that only 20 Euros notes were available, and even if you wanted to withdraw the full amount in 20 Euros notes, it only allowed to withdraw 20€!!!! I got really angry about it!!!

  9. Interesting story about Iran and Israel. It seems that Iran hacked into the IDF’s database. They got a lot of info, including compromising photos of world leaders.     3. Love reading people’s thought as the dialog spurs on greater thinking..

      Iran is a complicated country, with interesting relationships to Russia and the US. Analysis needs to take into account the subtleties of its resources and cultural make up. Iran being one of the 7 countries targeted for regime change, if the US is going to force project it needs to do so now. Perhaps a bit later than hoped for, but strategic thinking is over decades vice days or weeks. There’s some longer term plan in mind for the Deep State/Mr. Global.

  18. I went to the Heard Museum in April, an excellent Native American Museum in Phoenix. One of the exhibits by Bob Haozous consisted of many dollar bills as the base of a gold mousetrap. After that, the air force will bring down buildings, similar to what Israel did in Beirut.

    1. Already heard of an attack where they hit a market and then returned to hit the first responders.

      As Catherine said, Gaza is a method.

      However, already heard report of China and Pakistan shipping weapons to Iran. This is the new front in the war in Ukraine broadened to a full global war. Hitting Iran is denying oil to China. They will not take it lightly. There is a mutual defense pact with Russia, China, and Iran. It is just the beginning.

      The fall of Syria seemed to be quite significant now. Clear Leabanon, then clear, Sryia so that there is free airspace all the way to Iran. Still a lot of mystery on how Syria so suddenly collapsed.

      But it isn’t a small strip like Gaza. Iran is far larger than Isreal and has over 10 times the population.

      And at least we know truly now where Trump stands. Always behind Isreal, no actual deal making, just bluster and lies. It was all fakery. Maybe now a candidate for one of the worst presidencies. Peace in the first term was just a prelude to full global war in the second.

    2. One of the senior functionaries in Iran, on 18th June, made a statement to the effect that what happens tonight will be remembered for centuries.
      My take on this is that Iran’s latest missile is a game changer. A warhead of around one ton travelling at extremely high speed.
      Until now, the Israeli command structure installed in bunkers was not personally threatened.
      If Iran destroys the above ground infrastructure, these Israelis have to move underground. They have nowhere else to go.
      If Iran’s new weapon can destroy these too, there will have to be a radical rethink.

      1. Hard to tell what is theatre and what is real. Have to see what happens. I know part of the theatre is to distract from the final push to exterminate the remaining people in Gaza. I am just wondering if there is a bigger distraction going on – particularly as it relates to geophysical risks.
