Music of the Week
Not in Our Name
Fathers and Sons from Southern Germany

Our Music of the Week is a compelling production from Germany that has now been expanded with English captions. The producer of the song—KLA.TV—is a very committed alternative media group from Switzerland that has presented extraordinary content on health, faith, freedom of speech, as well as family and individual sovereignty for many years. Long before the Covid era activated bystanders, KLA.TV and founder Ivo Sasek talked about many of the topics that are of concern today. Over the years, their channel has grown to hundreds of thousands of views each month, with conferences translated into over 30 languages and streamed worldwide.
The song “Fathers and Sons – Not in Our Name” (viewed over three million times) was performed and recorded last summer (2025) by a dedicated group of fathers and sons from southern Germany when their homeland, as well as other EU governments, began to push for a new militarization of society, calling for increased drafts and laying the groundwork for a war economy.
The people see through the ploy and say: “Not in our name!”

About 130 years ago, my Horlacher ancestors confronted very similar developments as certain vile influences were seizing control over their beloved Southern Germany Homeland at that time, and with a much smaller band of concerned citizens than shown in this video, exercised their available option to seek refuge elsewhere, saving themselves from the Nazi nightmare — so now, with no effective option for refuge elsewhere, together “we stand here,” wherever we are, whoever we are, “to live for peace and freedom in a world worth living in” once the “warmongers and misanthropes all reap their own damage.”
🙂
Beautiful. Here’s another powerful German antiwar song: “Nein, meine Söhne geb’ ich nicht.” Translated: “No, I will not give you my sons.”
