City of Las Cruces is cutting off utilities for the non payment of speed camera tickets.
[http://www.thenewspaper.com/news/37/3774.asp] In Phx 75k people refused to pay speed camera tickets due to the fact you cannot face your accuser.. The cameras came down.. No news on what the people of Las Cruces will do.
According to a link from “Speedtrap.org” 6 municipalities were busted for reducing the “Yellow” light by as much as 3 – 4 seconds. All in the name of revenue. Please remember, it’s not about safety it’s all about revenue. There were serious increases in traffic accidents in all 6 cities…[http:/.motorists.org/6-cities-that-were-caught-shortening-yellow-light-times-for-profit]
I disagree with the OWS movement. Signs in the streets will do nothing; our Gummint.Inc cares not what we think. For the last 12 years the O’BushBama continuity plan has continued to allow Wall St. to get away with financial murder of the nation’s wealth via unchecked and uninvestigated felony fraud. You vote with your money everyday. Try doing this, if 10% of us stopped shopping at:
- Big Box Stores
- Chain Restaurants
- Stopped watching the PM news
And started :
- Buying from Ma and Pa’s stores
- Reading alternative news sources
- Grow a vegetable garden
- If you get real brave, start and use community currencies
- Pull your money out of big bank
- Barter..etc.
It would impact the status quo’s bottom line by 30%. Where they count their profits thrice like Enron to deceive their share holders. We are in a financial war, it’s time to fight back. The .Inc in FedGov.Inc can only be dealt with via financial means. The .Inc has gotten it’s hands on just about all of our public money’s it’s time to take some back.
It appears with the Patriot Act, NDAA and NDRP that our beloved Gummint is getting ready for violence in the streets. And that’s what it wants. It’s prepared for that. It’s not prepared for well aimed peaceful financial boycotts of the corporations that are running the show. It worked for Ghandi, it can work for us.
