“Revolutionaries do not make revolutions. The revolutionaries are those who know when power is lying in the street and then they can pick it up.” ~Hannah Arendt
By Catherine Austin Fitts
This week on the Solari Report, Wayne Madsen of The Madsen Report joins me to discuss his new book Soros: Quantum of Chaos and “soft revolutions.” With years of experience working for the U.S. military-intelligence establishment, Wayne walks us through the strategic application of global philanthropic funding to advance both US and private interests. We discuss the application of “soft” power – continuing our discussion with Nafeez Ahmed on The CIA, NSA & Google and with Charles Hugh Smith on Soft Weapons.
Wayne reviews soft revolutions around the globe during the last decade — the Arab Spring, Ukraine, and Hong Kong — as well as the targeting of China and Russia, and domestic disturbances, including Ferguson, Missouri. He considers what we should expect in terms of the application of “soft power” by the next US administration.
In Let’s Go to the Movies, I will review George Clooney and Julia Robert’s latest: Money Monster. Clooney plays a “Kramer” character whose TV show is hijacked by a young man who has lost his life savings in a hedge fund manipulation. The story is a reminder that capitalism and organized crime differ significantly and that organized crime is, in fact, the primary contributor to inequality and falling productivity.

Hi Catherine! I just renewed my subscription for a year, after leaving Solari for a few months. It’s good to be back. Just look at all the developments since I’ve been gone–I just can’t take my eye off the ball.
Here’s a little entrainment story that you’ll find ironic and I hope a little humorous. My mom is in the late stages of Dementia, and I take care of her. Her mind is getting worse. But the one thing that helps her tremendously is to watch Fox News and CNN. The fast moving, exciting, dramatic entrainment techniques on these two channels pulls her back into reality (I can’t believe I just said that) whereas, when she’s left on her own, her mind will spiral into a black hole So, as it turns out, these networks are good for something!
Thanks for all you do for us!

Wow! That is great intelligence, Jo. Thanks!

Thanks for introducing us to Madsen. I’ll be reading his books, for sure. Just wanted to mention that I have thought for a long time that Soros is given inside tips and that’s why he is so “successful.” (Sort of like Buffett being fed info and sweetheart deals. One’s a trader, the other an “investor.” yeah, right.) This might explain the British pound episode a bit better. Rumor was that Soros lost big betting on the pound just before the Brexit vote. If true, that might bode well for our future at least in one way, that Soros might not be on the “winning” side in Mr. Global’s intramurals.

That is why I don’t think the profits are theres. They are agents and they have to use the capital as the syndicate directs.
