At the end of the day, when the horizon is turning red and the zenith is cobalt-blue, step outside and look southwest. You’ll see Venus and Jupiter beaming side-by-side through the twilight. Glittering Venus is absolutely brilliant and Jupiter is nearly as bright as Venus. Together, they’re dynamite:

Here in Santa Cruz everyone’s looking forward to this conjunction of Venus and Jupiter (great benevolence, kindness & intelligence available). In the southwest sky we can see them lined up waiting to be joined by the crescent new moon of Capricorn just after sunset on Monday. Capricorn is one of two spiritual Gates, where matter returns to Spirit. Humanity (Moon) steps onto that Pathway as Jupiter and Venus beckon. All of our telescopes are ready! Risa
