“A disproportionate number of innovations are developed by entrepreneurs, as opposed to big firms.”
~Robert Litan
By Catherine Austin Fitts
Robert Litan is one of the most respected economists of his generation. His personal experience in the US economy is deep, from research to government, academia to entrepreneurship, law to business. He has served as Senior Fellow and Director in Economics at the Brookings Institution as well as in the Department of Justice and the Office of Management and Budget.
For nine years, Bob was Vice President, Research and Policy at the Ewing Marion Kaufman Foundation where he oversaw a significant research effort on the economics and law of economic growth, innovation and entrepreneurship. Widely published with over 25 books on the US economy to his name, you can find Bob’s website here and Bob’s Twitter feed here.
Bob will join me on the Solari Report to speak about his US economy and his latest book, Trillion Dollar Economists: How Economists and Their Ideas Have Transformed Business. We will also talk about entrepreneurship and another book he co-authored, Better Capitalism: Renewing the Enterprenuerial Strength of the American Economy.
For Let’s Go to the Movies, check out Bob’s presentation, An Economist Walks Into a Bar, at TEDxKC:
I will cover the latest financial market news in Money & Markets. Make sure to post or e-mail your questions for Ask Catherine.
