Tornadoes Kill at Least 39 in Five States

Angel Babcock, the 15-month-old found alive in an Indiana field, died on Sunday, bringing the death toll from the tornadoes that hit 10 states on Friday up to 39.
As the Associated Press reports, Angel—whose mother, father, and two siblings all died in the tornadoes—had become something of a symbol of hope for survivors of the storms.
