US Presidential Race: Why the Move for a Brokered Convention?

“My significant other right now is myself, which is what happens when you suffer from multiple personality disorder and self-obsession” ~Joaquin Phoenix
By Catherine Austin Fitts
One of the best ways to follow the US Presidential Race is by watching the polls at Real Clear Politics.
What the polls continue to say is that if the Democratic and Republican parties want to win the general election, they will nominate Sanders and Kasich.
Problem is that the primary elections are likely to result in Clinton and Trump being the nominees.
If you are the leadership of either party, your obligation is to win in November – not just the White House, but the Congress as well as state and local elections. Do you listen to primary voters or general election voters?
Looks to me like the polls are clearly telling the Republican leadership that they can not afford Trump as nominee.
That’s not the insiders speaking – that’s the broad population speaking through multiple polls.
