This week on The Solari Report, I will speak with Patty Kemmerer of Kemmerer Schooley, CPAs, about US yearend tax and financial planning. Our goal is to inspire you to take action now while there is still time, before the end of the tax year.
Patty and I will be review the full gamut of tax issues, big and small, including 401ks and IRA investments, Affordable Care Act penalties. Patty will also review current GOP Congressional and Trump tax proposals in detail. Look for lots of practical ideas to address your tax bite and help compliance to go smoothly.

Who or what defines “progressive” or “liberal” and is there a difference? I used to think a progressive is one who challenges the corporate democrats from the left. Here is John Stauber:
The Progressive Movement is a PR Front for Rich Democrats
http://www.counterpunch.org/2013/03/15/the-progressive-movement-is-a-pr-front-for-rich-democrats/As for Occupy, I was so happy that there was a group challenging the banksters, and, among other things, urging people to move their money. (note: Kudos to CAF, who was the first person I know who urged people to move their money from the banksters many years before 2011.) Do you think Occupy was all a scam? If so, then why did they get shut down so fast, even in the most “liberal” of towns? Here is one of numerous articles. (The Guardian did several articles on Occupy.)
Occupy Wall Street Labeled “Terrorists” By The FBI | The Economic Populist 12-30-2012

I also heard stories of the police releasing homeless drug addicts from jail, and dropping them off at Occupy encampments.I read John Stauber and Sheldon Rampton’s books “Trust Us We’re Experts,” and “Toxic Sludge is Good for You” long ago. That is why I think Occupy Unmasked is BS. The latter book discusses “today’s multi-billion-dollar propaganda-for-hire PR industry, revealing how public relations wizards concoct and spin the news, organize phony “grassroots” front groups, spy on citizens and conspire with lobbyists and politicians.” One way to destroy movements that threaten the status quo is to infiltrate those groups and instigate violence, then blame the groups. Works every time.
Many thanks for the informative interview and the provocative movies.
