“We have to pierce the tunnels of loneliness with the conviction that there are other people and one has to trust that one is led to them.” ~Thomas Meyer
By Catherine Austin Fitts
Late last fall, Thomas Meyer asked me if he could interview me regarding 9/11 for his monthly magazine The Present Age. Thomas has a great appreciation for the harm that continues to this day from the many lies that have accumulated regarding that pivotal event.
We sat in his office, overlooking his beautiful garden outside of Basel, Switzerland and enjoyed a free ranging conversation. We started with a discussion of the Chartres and Mont Saint-Michel Cathedrals that I had visited last summer and ended with thoughts on my favorite Bible story – the story of Gideon from Judges:6-8.
If you have not watched or listened to my discussions with Thomas earlier in 2018, you can access them here. The first is The Future of Europe and next is An Afternoon in Sofia.
For Let’s Go to the Movies, enjoy the view of Mont Saint-Michel from a drone!
As this is the last week of the month, there is no Money & Markets commentary. You can e-mail or post questions for Ask Catherine for the March 7th Money &arkets here.

Love this conversation…
I am looking at Solari on a different machine than the one I usually use, so I can’t tell if it’s the way it is rendering… or if there were some pretty big changes to the way the page looks “logically”.
I think it’s the latter… and it looks WONDERFUL, and seems to make more logical sense.
Anyway… hope you are enjoying your trip, Catherine. I hesitate to say it… (don’t ever move abroad!), but your countenance always seems happier and more “chill” when you are in Europe.
The Mont-Saint-Michel video was also very cool, BTW. I’m sure you are aware of that old movie, “Mindwalk” that is set there, yes?
Have fun, milady!
