“When we lie, we create demonic beings. As we create them, we have the task to metamorph – to transform them.” ~Thomas Meyer on the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner
~ Money & Markets is posted commentary here.~
By Catherine Austin Fitts
This week on The Solari Report, we publish my conversation with Thomas Meyer last month when I joined him to attend the Sofia Opera’s production of Wagner’s opera cycle Der Ring des Nibelungen or the Ring as well as a related lecture by Thomas.
Wagner’s Ring explores many of the issues we discuss on the Solari Report, including the competition to control planetary gold inventories, the use and abuse of power and governance, and the importance of family wealth. These four operas remind the audience that the challenges that we face today have been with us for many centuries.
Thomas is the head of Perseus Publishing in Basel, Switzerland, which publishes The Present Age. He has joined me several times on the Solari Report – earlier this year to discuss the future of Europe, last summer for a discussion of how to confront evil – and the year before to introduce us to Rudolf Steiner.
I am always informed and inspired when talking with Thomas and meeting the wonderful people he attracts to his events, gatherings, and operatic adventures.
In Let’s Go to the Movies, I recommend the classic British miniseries Wagner for those who want to learn more about the life and times of German composer Richard Wagner. This lengthy epic, originally released in 1983, stars Sir Richard Burton as Wagner, and features an all-star cast, including Vanessa Redgrave, Laurence Olivier and Gabriel Byrne.
In Money & Markets this week I will join you from Toulouse, France to discuss the latest in financial and geopolitical news.
Talk to you Thursday!

That was so enlightening Catherine.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I have to study more of Steiner’s work. In the Dark Journalist’s X series he touches on Steiner and the mystery schools. There’s a possibility Trump is aware or has attended one of the mystery schools through the people he’s been connected with. The video I shared with you at his rally in West Virginia at the end of his speech he talks about who are the real elites. He tells his audience you’re more than the elites, you are super elites more powerful then they could imagine. After listening to your interview with Thomas the power of suggestion and intention it made so much sense.
Amazing.

Has Joseph’s organ been delivered? If so, missed that.

I am very disappointed by the piece done with Thomas Meyer. It was Wagner’s music which inspired Hitler.
That should count for something. Also noted is the mention of gods, goddesses, sun worship, and reincarnation. This man is a pagan, no matter how enlightened he may attempt to appear.
The personal experience with and the intellectual understanding of the Judeo-Christian God is the only salvation for man that there will ever be. When the times of great crises that are approaching are over, everyone left standing will be in wholehearted agreement. Why not get a head start and show Him some respect starting now!-
The fact that Hitler liked Wagner implies nothing to me. Wagner wrote for Wagner and his audience. He was writing about a time that was defined by pagan religions and delivering a variety of messages. I don’t see it as a refutation of Christianity. I do see it as a disturbing comment on how mankind often produces uncivilized states – that is very informative and very telling. Wagner is writing about power and the management of power. If anything it is about governance and the failure of governance.
