Cortez is Executive Director of the Sound Money Defense League, a policy group that advocates for a stable and constitutional monetary system. At a time of entrenched and continuing inflation, the Sound Money Defense League reminds us that inflation is not just “a hidden tax—and one with no vote, no debate, and no transparency”—it attacks freedom as well as the wallet.
Luschas spoke with Catherine in a popular May 2025 interview about “Turtling for Cash,” describing her efforts and successes as a warrior for cash in South Dakota.
