Hero of the Week

Jon Rappoport

(1938-2026)

“Jon’s ability to go in and research and understand the nuts and bolts of how the system worked was pure genius.”

~ Catherine Austin Fitts

Hero of the Week

Jon Rappoport

We are extremely sad to report that Jon Rappoport—longtime ally and friend of Catherine, of Solari, and of many in the “new media” space—passed away on July 8.

In interviews and seminars, Jon has been a regular presence at the Solari Report since 2006. At that time 20 years ago, Catherine introduced him to Solari subscribers as “one of the finest sources of information revealing who’s who at the top of the power hierarchy, how resources are really governed, and the culture that currently dominates our planet.” Jon’s use of logic, his exercise of critical thinking, and his unmatched nose for research imbued him with an almost superhuman capability to see through fake news (before he moved to Substack in 2022, his website was NoMoreFakeNews.com).

Jon’s bio includes many accomplishments—decades as a freelance investigative reporter, radio producer, and commentator; a 1994 run for Congress; extensive and forensic analysis of mainstream medicine’s crimes; and additional artistic hats as a painter and poet—but even that list does not do justice to Jon’s modern-day embodiment of the Renaissance man.

For those of us accustomed to finding Jon’s prodigious output in our daily inboxes (ranging in tone from impassioned to scolding to irreverently hilarious) and wondering how we are going to fill the gap that his departure leaves, Jon’s producer, business associate, and close friend Tom Kudla has an answer:

I believe the greatest way to honor Jon is to continue reading his work, studying it carefully, asking difficult questions, and thinking independently—the qualities that defined both his work and his life.”

To that end, Kudla is taking on the role of editorial steward and overseeing the preservation and continued publication of Jon’s huge body of work. At Jon’s Substack—now the Jon Rappoport Archive—some of Jon’s most important articles will be republished, along with materials that Jon never had an opportunity to publish in his lifetime.

In Jon’s first Solari appearance in 2006, Catherine flagged one of the core messages underlying his work—that we “have the power to invent our world—one that is true and beautiful.” As Jon himself put it:

One of the great joys that a person could experience is to imagine and create…. [W]hat individual freedom is for [is] to create your world, invent your world, invent your future, invent what it is that you want, invent something better than we have now.”

Jon “walked his talk” and experienced that joy and freedom many times over, offering a beautiful example for the rest of us to try to emulate.

  1. Catherine, I am so sorry for your loss. I have been a fan of Jon’s for decades and love him and his work very much. We may miss him here on earth but I am sure Jon was excited to get to heaven to see his lovely wife again and of course ask God a million questions! Sending love and prayers of strength to his family, friends and fans, Jennifer

  2. Many thanks to Jon for his fantastic writing and works through the years. I will miss his contributions to truth and light!!! Fair winds and following seas to a new angel of Goodness….

  3. When I started looking into the covid scam, who did I find there but Jon Rappaport! Back around 20 years ago I bought and read a slew of books on the HIV-AIDS controversy, including Peter Duesberg’s Inventing the AIDS Virus. Jon’s book on this topic was there on the shelf. Jon was always ahead of the curve. A courageous investigator. Thank you Jon, rest in peace.

  4. I will miss Jon Rappaport—his revealing research, his astute reasoning, his bank of knowledge, his wit, his sense of humor.
What a gift he was to all who knew of Jon Rappaport and his work.

  5. Thank you for putting together a list of interviews you have done with Jon. I thought I had listened to all, but there were more! It would be wonderful if the selection of Jon’s best works could be made available in Japanese. People will be shocked, since most people still have not figured out that COVID (let alone AIDS/HIV) was fake, have no idea they are about to lose all of their assets and freedom, and think the transgender movement is an organic trend.

  6. Jon was a great polymath who offered us treasures of knowledge. Next to his many other talents, Jon belongs to the rarest breed of investigative journalism, the only true journalism, in league with John Pilger and Richard Werner amongst very few other noteworthy gems of journalism.

Jon will be very dearly missed, until we meet again, but his achievements remain immortal and an invaluable gift to mankind!

    Thank you Jon.

  7. What a loss for all of us….I became acquainted with his wonderful work through Solari. Grateful. He was gifted in so many ways, and so generous in sharing them with his readers. One of my life questions has always been, “Yes, but what do we do with trauma?”–particularly all the Trauma the Powers That Be foist upon us individually and in the public arena. Genius he was in pointing out the necessity for using our imagination and developing creativity. Life-changing. That sharp and incisive early morning substack writing I looked forward to as true news, reporting and very often a belly laugh before breakfast.
Never met him in person, but I look upon him almost in awe as a true prophet of our age —of biblical proportions–what a good man. Requiem et Pacem, gentle Jon.
