1. Iran is no threat to the USA.  Israel refuses to allow any inspectors to evaluate their own nuclear capability.

   Israel:
   – has ‘at least’ 90 nuclear bombs, and has enough fissile material to produce hundreds more.
   – since 1970, has always refused to sign treaty
   – started developing nuclear weapons in 1952, building weapons started in 1958
   – in 1979, tested its nuclear weapons in the Atlantic Ocean near South Africa, known as the ‘Vela Incident’.

   Iran:
   – no nuclear bombs
   – yes, they signed the treaty.  International inspectors are welcome.
   – also as a theological govt … has signed a ‘fatwa’ prohibiting the production of nuclear bombs.
   – All Arab states are willing to become a ‘nuclear weapons FREE zone’ but cannot because of Israel’s bombs.

   1. Love reading people’s thought as the dialog spurs on greater thinking..

      Iran is a complicated country, with interesting relationships to Russia and the US. Analysis needs to take into account the subtleties of its resources and cultural make up. Iran being one of the 7 countries targeted for regime change, if the US is going to force project it needs to do so now. Perhaps a bit later than hoped for, but strategic thinking is over decades vice days or weeks. There’s some longer term plan in mind for the Deep State/Mr. Global.

      However, in the background is the Huthies and Iranians who are in a brewing alliance.
      Harassing shipping lanes, interrupting the flow of commerce. I think the M&M analysis that ” the us ran away from the Huthies” is simplistic and doesn’t take other events in the media reporting into consideration. (see links) The issue seems to be “lines of communication,” maritime transport of commercial goods. The response favoring Corbett philosophy for restraint than Mahan, whom would seek full and total control of the seas.

3. Interesting story about Iran and Israel. It seems that Iran hacked into the IDF’s database. They got a lot of info, including compromising photos of world leaders. Within two hours of the hack, Israel began bombing Tahran – Cowinkedink? Todd then follows with a clip of Catherine. The link is below – starts at 9 minutes in and goes for about 1 minute.
