Catherine, have you seen the recent panic about AIpocalypse? Can send some links if you’d like. Lots of tech guys quitting their jobs (apparently) and warning of high chance of AIpocalypse
I can’t figure out why they are pushing the AIpocolypse stories either… Even old ladies at retirement homes here in South Dakota are talking about AIpocolypse!

A LLM cannot achieve sentience. It is simply a plagiarism machine and has been shown by researcher at Oxford and other place to have no inate reasoning ability. It is like trying to make an Indy car by breed fast horses. It doesn’t work.
As side note – they briefly mention Eric Dexler who popularized nanotechnology as really was a fore father to this AI rationalist religion. I actually joined his institute and met him. He was absolutely batshit crazy. He gave keynotes about arranging to freeze your head when you die and his partner Ralph Merkle presented a paper (dead serious) at a nanotechnology conference about how we can speed tech up by working backwards from the future. People that are so in love with their own thoughts that they can’t relate to the reality around them.
I heard Zitron on Dairy of a CEO. Was shocked that that neither he or bartlett have any concept of the economics of control. They really seem to believe the whole thing is some kind of private investment. I did not finish.
Can not do IPOS because of the disclosure. Burning too much cash for any business model. Only justified by control grid. So need major government bailouts.

Man in America had an interesting program about the possible real history of the USA. Many people have been discussing the impossible history of the construction of the Worlds Fairs and similar Exhibitions. He added in the mental hospitals, which I had not heard of. These were supposedly constructed in the late 1800s, but this was after the Civil War, so how could they have financed them? This is recent history, but I believe that many past civilizations might have been destroyed in a similar fashion and history rewritten.

There is a real go along to get along mentality in younger generations and the mantra seems to be “this is the way things are, have been, and will always be.” All they (the technocrats) need is for people to defer to the status quo. IMO there are no alternative visions for the future that are being put forth seriously by anyone with power. Further yet, the landscape of postmodernity has created the conditions where they must work incrementally rather than having one grand campaign to put us in our cages all at once. They know this and will win; it’s Biblical.

The problem with the “banking warfare model” is it works so far as when your technology can only kill soo many people… cannons and what not…
When your technology progresses to the point that “world wars” become a systematic threat to the entire planet along with destroying the biosphere and all life on earth..
If any one actor in the “scheme of things”… gets out of hand (or goes crazy)and decides to not play along…
Hence playing fire this time around… and why it won’t end the same after hundreds of years of the same thing over and over…
We change and grow or we kill everything off on the planet… there is little wiggle room this time around…
Which is why I think change for the better is inevitable… banking warfare has no where left to run its course

I actually thought it showed Canada’s alliance with the EU (Russia – danger, danger!) but maybe it does show alliance with the US, and I’ve been buying into the theatre of Carney dissing the US and siding with the UE. Your point makes more sense and brings CA into better perspective.

Catherine, you just said the magic word, “CIA”. Since does anything work honestly that is run by our CIA? That’s like saying MKUltra was run with oversight.
