  1. Catherine, I’d love to hear your insights about RFK Jr’s speech at the Bitcoin Conference.

    1. https://x.com/solari_the/status/1817340920636842281
Will describe in more detail on Money and Markets
He is proposing – without Congressional or legal authority – to tax and borrow from the pension funds of 100% of the American people to pump BTC owned by 20% at most of the people. So would be an unconstitutional and illegal executive order. He is proposing to move significant resources of the citizens without their consent and approval into an asset that is not real and is backed by nothing…..making it easier for Gates to buy farmland and the central banks to buy more gold. This will be the mother lode of all “Pumps.” Those who own significant BTC will be hugely advantaged – price could literally go to the moon – which will increase inequality. He is ignoring who got the $21 trillion and how to get it back. My guess is the people in charge of the Gaza genocide will make sufficient profits on their BTC holdings to help redevelop their newly acquired land holdings and will be quite happy with him. This will significantly increase their power and ability to push for the complete control grid and the end of US sovereignty. So another win for the people who have been steadily destroying US sovereignty all along. Should generate significant donations from the Bitcoin billionaires.

Frankly when the oil industry gets the President to fill up the strategic oil reserve, we stockpile a useful assets. IMO, RFK has now managed to make the oil industry look both patriotic and clean.

      1. Thank you! I did not understand his speech to that level of detail. Very disappointing. I look forward to your conversation with John this week in money and markets.

      2. Will those in the know about the pump to the Moon sell-off bits of their coin (pun intended), and buy real assets with dollars, or do you think Bitcoin will become widely used to buy tangible assets?

  2. Breaking ground on Monmouth Square in NJ. Looks like a smart city to me. AKA open-air prison. God help us.

Monmouth Mall demolition starts this week, but these stores will stay open (msn.com)

Kushner is demolishing 600,000 square feet of feet of brick and mortar, shrinking the retail footprint by 40%, in order to create a modern, open-air town center called Monmouth Square. The work will take about four to five years to complete and will be a total investment of $500 million.

  3. Catherine,

I loved your interview with Robert Moynihan. Its a must watch.

    1. Just saw it too. I often hear others say CAF should run for president. She should be in foreign affairs. She really is a people person that is most eloquent and knowledgeable, feeling like a fish in water no matter the circumstances. I believe she could go toe to toe with Sergej Lavrov in stature, given a chance!

      1. Thank you and Catherine for the links. Unfortunately, I know nothing about the Rape of Russia, which I believe is a big hole in my knowledge of the world. I am going to get informed, starting with the links you both provided. Again, thank you both

          1. Thank you, I just started reading it.
I was hoping to buy a hardback, but archive is actually better for my personality. My stack of books waiting to be read numbers about 20, some still unwrapped!!! When we get older, in our mind we can do about 10 times more than reality.

  4. Brief update about the Jasper fire:

    1) The residents were evacuatedvery early in the morning with no notice. They were not allowed to bring anything with them.
They were NOT ALLOWED to leave the Park via the Yellowhead east towards Edmonton or take the Icefields Parkway towards Banff (and therefore Calgary), which takes about 3 hours.
There were forced to drive to Prince George (WTF?) in BC. Most stayed overnight. Then, many drove south to get to Highway 1 towards … Banff. I’ve never driven that route because it’s stupid, but I assume it takes around 12-15 hours to complete the circle.

The elderly woman I met at Church on Sunday then drove from Calgary to Edmonton to stay with family. That’s an additional 3 hours to the trip. Apparently, her house is OK, but she was pretty shaken up.

    2) The residents are forbidden to re-enter the Park. The Feds are the only media releasing footage. I’ve heard coffee-shop talk about the striking similarity between what happened to Jasper and Lahaina. For example: the Church was incinerated but the trees right beside it are fine. The fire skipped an entire section of forest and coincidentally destroyed the West side of the town. The buildings are mostly gone, but the infrastructure is OK. That kind of stuff.

    3) The Mayor (who’s been the Major since the late ’80s) is nowhere to be seen. Trudeau, who went on holidays 2 days before the fire, is still unavailable.

Hopefully, the Inn where my family have been holidaying since I was a kid is OK. We’re still booked for our traditional September trip. I’ll get much more detail from the proverbial horse’s mouth at that time.
