Ohio attorney Warner Mendenhall passed away in early June, mourned by many in the health freedom movement.

His bio on the Mendenhall Law Group website says it all. Describing his journey from politics to law—it was after serving two terms on the Akron City Council in the 1990s that Mendenhall decided to go to law school—he determined that his passion and calling were to help “give ordinary people the power to stand up to government abuses, corporate fraud, and bank malfeasance.”

Mendenhall became more widely known during the Covid plandemic. Notably, as Sasha Latypova recounts, he took on the case of whistleblower Brook Jackson against Pfizer, “which was key to revealing the military nature of Project Covid.” Latypova adds that it was her discussions of the Jackson case with Mendenhall that helped her realize that “Pfizer did not defraud the government, they delivered the fraud that the government ordered.”

In addition to Jackson, Mendenhall represented the family of Grace Schara, helping shine a light on brutal hospital murder protocols, as well as representing other whistleblowers and challenging Covid shot mandates. In 2023, he founded Freedom Counsel, with the mission of “connect[ing], educat[ing], and empower[ing] attorneys, experts and citizens to comprehend and effectively address legal complications stemming from government actions, corporate misconduct and shortcomings within the system.” The remaining directors of Freedom Counsel have vowed to continue to advance Mendenhall’s “fearless advocacy for justice.”

Mendenhall was unafraid to be, in his wording, a giant slayer. Again, it is his self-description on his website that best sums up the qualities—unfortunately all too rare in the legal arena—that earned the loyalty of so many clients and colleagues:

“Most of the clients I’ve had the pleasure of working with found my law firm as they were searching for an attorney who is driven and dedicated to helping them move past their legal struggles…. I can … think outside of the box and remain steadfast when taking on larger institutions…. When you reach out to me, we generally explore your life situation beyond the case so we can understand where the case fits into your big picture…. With every case, I strive to do right by the client.”
