A few years back i came across a meta-analysis that showed no reduction in all-cause for >800IU/d supplementation. So I advised 400IU/d to others.
There is a handy product “Vitamin D & Boron” from Swanson with 400IU. The literature on Calcium fructoborate is emerging quite strong, too.

Vitamin D increases absorption of calcium and phosphorus, and you know what those commonly age-related dystrophic calcifications are? same stuff as arterial plaque and kidney stones… calcium phosphate.

We take D3 5000 IU/day last 5 years in smoothie with 40 other supplements.
Our Vitamin D -25 Hydroxy blood levels are 60 to 80 ng/ml perfect as per my wife MD.
Correct, need to check blood levels. And we need to get sunshine without sunscreen, yet another health scam, sadly.
