  1. Thank you, Catherine. Great interview and insight into Russia and its role in the geopolitical sphere. One comment and question: How many countries are truly agreement-capable? The US certainly is not, and neither is China (e.g. Hong Kong).

    Governments and organizations/corporations are only agreement-capable when they are forced to be, isn’t that right? Or am I misinterpreting your meaning of “agreement-capable”?

    1. Effective governments are agreement capable. Without agreements, no civilization.

  2. Interesting- the Saker mentioned that the Russian PM (Kerensky?) in the early 20th C. tabled a motion for the Duma to denounce political violence, and that they refused!
