This one is exceptionally riveting. Husband and wife duo Sabrina and Rubén Véliz from Argentina dance to the Brazilian “Milonga para as Missões” by Gilberto Monteiro at the 2023 Tango Festival in Porto, Portugal. This is only one year before Rubén died prematurely in 2024 by taking his own life.
Rubén, together with his wife and dance partner Sabrina, were towering figures in the international tango community. Together they spent nearly three decades influencing and shaping modern Argentine tango as dancers, choreographers, and master teachers.
Their passion for dance is captivating and visible.
