Take Action in Your State on Hot-Topic Bills

March 30, 2025

“For many years we as a state have been at war with the federal government trying to cram values down our throats that weren’t Alabama values. I see this as no different.”

~ Rep. Mack Butler, Alabama sponsor of bill to prohibit federal weather modification activities

Take Action in Your State on Hot-Topic Bills

With state legislative sessions in full swing across the U.S., we would like to remind American subscribers of the importance of making your voice heard about prospective legislation. State legislators pay attention to their constituents’ emails and phone calls. Here are three topics worth chiming in on.

Actions on Pesticide Indemnification

Our allies at Stand for Health Freedom are drawing attention to the dangerous lobbying by Bayer/Monsanto (the world’s second-largest farm chemical company) for state-level bills that would shield the pesticide industry from legal accountability. Over the past decade, over 100,000 lawsuits have alleged that the manufacturer failed to provide adequate warnings of the health risks associated with glyphosate-containing Roundup, and Bayer has been on the defensive. The industry-favorable bills now wending their way through various states, dubbed “failure-to-warn” bills, would head such lawsuits off at the pass. Four states (Florida, Idaho, Iowa, and Missouri) unsuccessfully introduced bills in 2024, and some version is expected in at least 21 states in 2025. (For an example of bill wording, see this Tennessee bill.) As Stand for Health Freedom warns, “State-level immunity bills are just the first step—the ultimate goal is full federal liability protection for pesticide manufacturers, similar to what was granted to the vaccine industry in 1986.”

  1. Find out whether a bill has been introduced in your state here.
  2. If yes, contact your elected officials asking them to oppose this or similar legislation.
  3. If no, continue to monitor bills introduced in your state.
  4. See Catherine’s March 25 letter to the Members of the Tennessee General Assembly for an example of a letter incorporating the most important talking points here.

Actions on REAL ID

Stand for Health Freedom is also joining forces with Citizens’ Council for Health Freedom (CCHF) to alert the public to the dangers of the REAL ID. As they explain, the REAL ID “is an unconstitutional National ID that will end state and personal sovereignty.” It is being positioned to become a Chinese-like social credit system that can be used to “track and control movement, purchases, and transactions.” The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is currently scheduled to start “progressively enforcing” the REAL ID on May 7, 2025.

  1. Contact your U.S. Representative and Senators and ask them to quickly use the Congressional Review Act (CRA) to withdraw the TSA rule and stop this National ID.
  2. If you already have a REAL ID and live in one of the 45 states that does not require it, switch immediately to a standard ID or driver’s license. (If your current ID or driver’s license has a “star” on it, it is a REAL ID.) If you do not have a REAL ID, do not get one!
  3. Tell everyone you know the truth about REAL ID—it is a federal takeover of state and personal sovereignty.
  4. If you are in one of the five states requiring it (Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Texas, Wyoming), let your legislators know that you disagree.

Actions on Geoengineering

On July 1, 2024, Tennessee became the first state to enact legislation (SB2691 / HB2063) that “prohibits the intentional injection, release, or dispersion, by any means, of chemicals, chemical compounds, substances, or apparatus within the borders of [the] state into the atmosphere with the express purpose of affecting temperature, weather, or the intensity of the sunlight.” The state of Rhode Island tried to do something similar over a decade ago, without success, but the Tennessee legislators’ bold action has now opened the floodgates to discussions and potential bills in other states, including Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Iowa, and Kentucky. The legacy media are pulling out all the stops to discredit these bills and their sponsors, contorting themselves into the position that “chemtrails” are a “conspiracy theory,” while acknowledging that weather modification, cloud-seeding, solar geoengineering, and stratospheric aerosol injections (SAI) are real.

  1. If you are in a state contemplating a bill to ban these actions, let your state legislators know that you support the bill.
  2. If your state has not yet taken action in this area, let your legislators know what some of the other states are doing.
