This 6-pillar curriculum teaches the basic literacy we need to be personally and financially successful and to do so in a manner in which together we evolve a culture that supports the emergence of an advanced human civilization.
I MUST give a HUGE thank you to Catherine, Carolyn, and whomever recommended Desert Financial as the BEST Arizona credit union (question 14 at about 1:09:00). I left a voicemail a few days ago to try to find out who referred me, as they could be eligible for $100 referral fee. After the fact, it would be really hard to do enough banking to get that reward, so never mind on getting back to me about that!
Nonetheless, this recommended credit union is off-the-charts GREAT. Their rates aren’t quite as high as my other credit union, but their human-to-human service (whether it be through calls, email, or in person) is Exemplary. Their terms are entirely readable, no legalese nonsense, and they didn’t require anything beyond my drivers license to set up accounts. They have 50 Arizona branches (as opposed to the one I’ve been using the last 15 years); and their hours are later and more abundant (7 PM for human [not AI] customer service inquiries, branches open till 6 PM weekdays, and till 2 PM on Saturdays!).
The best thing, though, is that everybody I talked with there agrees with me, and they have no problem with me dealing with large sums of cash to pay bills, etc. Their debit card limits are much higher and even their online banking requires nothing beyond what I provided to set up the accounts.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU…
I also, per your wonderful interviews, have found a fantastic homeopath that I am working with 🙂
Makes such a difference to have a great bank or credit union who will maintain a human relationship!
Sierra Club took down the article about sewage sludge in common garden center fertilizers (referenced on Meryl Nass’ Substack). The article was fortunately archived before the take down.
