Kit Knightly on the Empire’s Plunder of America

“America was never the Empire, it was just where the Empire lived for a while.”

Kit Knightly on the Empire’s Plunder of America

During the events shorthanded as “Covid,” author-journalist Kit Knightly was one of the most penetrating and enjoyable voices of reason and sanity coming out of the UK. Knightly is a contributing co-editor at OffGuardian (the name derives “from the fact its founders had all been censored on and/or banned from the Guardian’s ‘Comment is Free’ sections”), and he launched the still-embryonic Knightly Knews Substack a year ago.

This is not the first time we’ve drawn attention to Knightly’s superlative analytical skills, which, a couple of years ago, he used to dissect reasons why Mr. Global might engineer “false false flags.”

On this July 4, Knightly published a sadder piece: a “eulogy” for America on its 250th Independence Day. His principal argument is that America and its 340 million inhabitants “were never the Empire.” The Empire, he observes, has “had other homes before [and] will have others in the future.” It only temporarily chose to possess (in an almost demonic sense) the U.S.:

“America may be the name they used, America may be the flag they waved, but none of the Imperial Conquerors really care for name or flag.”

Knightly’s pessimistic view of present-day America is of a nation plundered and in the process of being discarded by Empire—and headed toward potential “collapse into a quasi-failed state.”

At Solari, of course, we “never say never.” As our dear and recently departed ally Jon Rappoport always maintained, it is important not to surrender to the “hopelessness op.” Even if depopulation and plunder agendas are in play, each individual still has the opportunity to come clean, take local action, and build the culture.

Nevertheless, we offer a big “bravo” to Knightly for his explanation of Empire and his tribute to “a nation that could have been great,” “founded by brilliant men with beautiful ideas.” We encourage you to support his work at Knightly Knews and OffGuardian.
