“I do not understand why the world must follow Israel. The world has the power, but they choose to obey Israel.” ~ Prime Minister of Malaysia Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad
By Catherine Austin Fitts
The Saker spent many years as a professional military analyst and has lived, studied, and worked in both the United States and Europe. For more than a decade he has written and corresponded with analysts and citizens around the world from his website The Vineyard of the Saker. He has published two of the most insightful books available on the geopolitics of the emerging multipolar world: The Essential Saker and The Essential Saker II.
The Saker joins me this week on The Solari Report to talk about the dramatic developments in the Middle East. The tensions grow between Iran and the U.S.—with allies Israel and Saudi Arabia—as Israel seeks to establish itself as the Middle Eastern hegemon and use that position to assert dominance in technology and ventures for its companies and investors along the Silk Road.
Our topic is simple: Will the United States go to war with Iran? Can such a war be won, or is it a suicide mission for the Empire? Is this the end of the unipolar world? Why has Israel lobbied so intensely for such a war? And why would President Trump renege on his campaign promises to decrease the U.S. troop commitment to the Middle East?
What happened to the words from President Trump’s inaugural address, “We will seek friendship and goodwill with the nations of the world—but we do so with the understanding that it is the right of all nations to put their own interests first. We do not seek to impose our way of life on anyone, but rather to let it shine as an example for everyone to follow.”
Why are the Neocons back in the White House? Was the foreign campaign interference that we should have worried about in 2016 actually Israel and its financial backers? Are dual citizens in the American Congress going to send American soldiers to die in the Middle East to line their pockets? Why is General Kelly saying it is time to send “Javanka” home?
What does the flow of Iranian oil mean to the petrodollar? And are we back on the “seven countries in five years” plan?
Watch General Wesley Clark describe the memo from Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld immediately after 9-11 to take out seven countries in five years:

This week on Let’s Go to the Movies, check out the documentary The China Hustle. This documentary helps describe one aspect of the economic warfare involved in our capital flows and trade with China. As the documentary maker says, this is a story with no good guys. The tensions with Iran are a direct result of the rise of China and the power and importance of exploding growth in trade between Europe and Asia through Eurasia.
Saker is a communist.
I doubt it. But Sakers believes in a social safety net. He is deeply pro-human. He is sick of seeing living equity destroyed by financial capital run in violation of capitalist principles. This is nothing other than a synthesis of organized crime with fiat currency and the national security state – it is simply organized crime on steriods. I am a capitalist – and I believe if we allowed the voting process to work with integrity and markets to work with integrity we would not worry about these debates because there would be sufficient provision to care for everyone who did their best to pull their weight and contribute according to their ability. When people see the voting process and markets corrupted and manipulated to this extent they conclude that it is necessary to manipulate them back into a healthier direction. Which is logical if you have not spent a lifetime studying what is really going on. What we have now is communism for oligarchs and banks. If Saker suggest we extend the benefits to everyone, I would say that makes him anti-oligarchy. Saker is the first to insist economics is not his beat.
I noticed the audio player is different on this page.
Previous pages had link to listen and link to download.
The link to download was helpful on iphone as I could download file to iphone folder and listen in areas without cell/data service.
Can that download link still be available moving forward?
Matt:
We ran into a special problem on this one so one of the team may have done something unique. I have asked him to look at your comment and respond.
Regarding Tulsi Gabbard – she is a member of the Council of Foreign Relations. That is why people do not trust her. Many post-Democratic Party, anti-war voters think she might be controlled opposition. As Saker pointed out, her stance on Israel is also troublesome.
Yes. Ditto Climate Change.
What immediately struck me in the conversation was Saker’s use of the term ‘the US’ when he means The Deep State, which has become a CIA operation almost exclusively. The psychopaths are not primarily elected nor electors. During the cold war, we were taught that Russians were bad, but I couldn’t buy that (particularly since I had ancestors who spoke that language). I could understand the threat that the Soviet Union represented militarily, but never thought that hundreds of millions should be killed over political theory differences. Additionally, if the US was destroyed in 120 minutes, then the rest of the world is gone in a day or less, so that’s the classic definition of ‘pyrrhic victory.’ Qui bono?
I continue to expect that the Iran dustup is a sideshow in the US-China war of dirty tricks. Besides the weather and cyber attacks, I feel certain the Chinese have a down card on disclosure that the US won’t risk their playing.
Definately part of the US-China tug of war
I have tried to understand the logic of US neoconservative policy of the last 15 years in Middle East, and I have this hypothesis. The end goal is not, and perhaps has never been, occupation or regime change. Too difficult and expensive.
The end goal is to destabilize and destroy infrastructure in key countries that cannot be brought under the US umbrella. Once you have a power vacum, it’s possible to sponsor internal chaos much cheaper than it would cost to maintain a US presence there.
That way, no other power can control the ME oil market once US power declines in the region. You only have Saudi Arabia as last regime standing. The rest will be chaos and no one will invest in places that are so unstable.
That is the only logical explanation that I can find to explain the govt’s actions. I don’t think these are stupid people. Crazy, maybe, but not stupid.
So it’s not really relevant that the US cannot win a war with Iran. That’s not the framework for this strategy. The goal isn’t to control the territory or the people. The goal is to destabilize and create chaos. The conflict itself is the goal as it creates the chaos. It doesn’t matter who wins in a conventional sense.
There is a joke that sums up this thinking. A farmer has a genie grant him one wish. The farmer thinks and says, “Well, my neighbor has a cow which gives him a 100 liters of milk a day.” The genie asks, “So you want a cow which gives you 200 liters?” “No,” the farmer replies, “I just want his cow to die.”
It’s a policy of destruction. There are two ways to be number one. Either rise above all others, or drag everyone else below you. The latter is the only way I can make sense of what is happening.
I agree – this is part of a logical explanation. I also think it creates deflation that helps you offset the extraordinary monetary inflation going on. The notion that the $21 trillion is not real because otherwise we would have inflation is complete bunk. If you looked at labor deflation and covert and war deflation, it is a significant and sufficient offset. However, I also think there is a desire to destroy history and the places being targeted are losing their libraries and antiquities. One of my allies is convinced that part of this is about portals and exopolitics – I can not prove that it is not.
It also works as a warning on the IT and cybersecurity shakedown across the silk road. Lets us control, install, manage and/or back door your systems or else – see what happened to so and so. This is another reason why the Huawei fight is so interesting. In part this is about how much equity Sheldon Adelson and the Beverly Hills crew can control on the Silk Road.
Can you direct me to credible information on “portals and exopolitics”?
I wish I could. I have never found anything that I trust. All “squishy”
Catherine,
There needs to be a follow up to this interview now that Netanyahu hasn’t been able to form a government and a re-election. Both you and Saker did not see that coming. No one did. First time in Israeli history. So what happened…?
Actually, we knew he was having trouble forming one and this could happen. I assumed this was as a result of the people who do not want war pushing. It is a good development but short term. The push – pull is going to continue. The only indication of real change is if something big results from the re-election process.
Someone somewhere didn’t want this report published and heard.
Prayers for you and all of the Solari team.
I know most of the people I hear discussing Iran believe It’s is just another 3rd world Middle East county to be “leveled” if they don’t fall in line.
It’s crazy. When I point out that US has not had a military Victory since WW2, I’m met with hostility and accused of being a Traitor for not supporting our troops. Most loathe Israel for seemingly racist reasons. The authentic threat from the ZioCons is met with contempt. These people are Conservative Christian Republicans. The mind control is palatable. The blank stare when an alternative perspective is presented, the angry hostility bordering on rage must be part of the program. It’s something to note. These folks are heavily armed and prepared bunker style even in City.
The Russians are bad meme has infiltrated both the Left and Right in the diverse groups of people I know.
Few to their peril, will listen or read Saker. It’s sad.
The Cradle of Civilization is just another country? That is mind control. What amazing people the Persians are.
I have never met more warm, generous, and hospitable people than Persian folks.
When I first got to know someone from Iran, I just thought he was a particularly impressive human being (…of course, he is that). In the years since, I discovered that extraordinary courtesy, warmth, generosity and kindness to be typical of Persian folks.
Me too. All of the Persians I have met are most impressive.
Until the American public deals with the Jewish issue from a historical point of view, nothing will be changed, again, the recommended works on the subject is E. Michael Jones: The Jewish Revolutionary Spirit and Michael A. Hoffman II: Judaism Discovered. Nothing will be resolved. Farrell is incorrect regarding the Gnosticism of the culture. It’s Kabbalah. Tikum Olam. Hutzpah. Gnosticism is a derivative of Talmud and Kabbalah, as is Masonry, Rosicrucian, etc. These Babylonian ideologies are remnants of whatever the nature of the antediluvian civilization. It is high time this platform dealt with E. M. Jones.
Some follow-up points: when we speak of the Anglo-Zionist empire, it is clear the Zionist faction is on top – the Israeli lobby is in total control of American foreign policy. Paul Singer, Bernard Marcus, and Sheldon Adelson: these 3 Jews are the reason for the dissolution of the Iran nuclear agreement. No war in the middle-east has ever benefited America, only Israel. Regarding pornography: exclusively Jewish. Regarding the filth in Hollywood: exclusively Jewish. Regarding the legalization of gay marriage: exclusively Jewish. Antifa: Soros. Regarding media: disproportionately Jewish. International banking: disproportionately Jewish. Note: these are generalizations. These are elites. I do not hold my Jewish tax accountant responsible for the crimes of elite psychopaths. However, mathematically, the western elite, in consideration of the demographic distribution, heavily skewed toward Zionist. Neo-cons: about whom are we speaking? The US is indeed occupied, and by whom?
Totally agree with you. I enjoy my Solari subscription immensely, as I enjoy other intelligent world news commentators such as The Duran, but still they continue to dance around the true cultural, political, theological, ethical, and, now, global issue: the impact of the Jewish revolutionary spirit and it’s extraordinary force in our western culture. I was absolutely blind to this until I began researching and writing a book on abortion. Bernard Nathanson, Larry Lader, and Betty Frieden led the revolution to overturn abortion laws in the U.S. while Henry Morgentaler fought and defeated Canadian abortion laws. All Jews. All determined to undermine and undo established cultural norms and values including our universally held belief in the sacredness of human life. We are spinning our wheels and nothing will change – in fact it will continue to disintegrate – until we are willing to talk about the elephant in the room.
Jane:
And were all those people supported and successful because the pharmaceutical companies wanted significant amount of fetal tissue for their research and products – making lots of money for a group of investors that were lead by primarily protestant and Catholic or agnostic investors. People like Frieden were a front – air cover.
I have no problem holding individual groups, tribes, themes, streams responsible – you will find a lot of discussions regarding the importance of not permitting dual citizenship – and the toxic influence of the Israeli lobby and AIPAC, including great interviews with McKinney and Saker on these topics. Saker has a great article on the topic which was part of the discussion and posted. Given the size of the planet, trying to blame one group is oversimplification.
My framework is based in my exerience:
1. THe governance structure is invisible at the top. Who owns and controls the UFOs flying around the planet? They control because they have the most powerful weapons.
2. Most places in the G-7 nations are controlled by a combination of the masons, the churches – Vatican and Jesuits the most powerful – and the Zionest and related Jewish networks. The work through the institutions that manage currency intergenerational capital and
insurance risk.
There is something comforting about picking out one group that has been particularly heinous and saying that is the problem. However, that is an oversimplification.
I have watched all the groups make tremendous profits from allowing the one of the groups be particularly heinuous – and then hang them out to dry when the time comes to take their winning and moving to the next phase.
Do they deserve to be hung out to dry? Yes – but if that is just part of the shift of consolidating winnings for Mr. Global – please see the play.
My two cents.
Catherine,
Thank you for your reply and thank you for the opportunity to discuss these difficult topics. It is not about singling out a specific group of people in a given moment or time. It is about understanding the ideas and philosophies that are the guiding force behind the evolution of our current culture. It is an undeniable fact that Jews have played a significant role in that evolution. And, as the subscriber above points out, and as I am discovering in my research, a lot of it has negatively impacted our contemporary western world. We also know Jews have a big influence in our political leadership and the media. Yet, we rarely seek to understand or know what the theology or philosophy or the historical thinking of that powerful group of people is. We ought to be asking that question and we ought to ponder the end results. Does that mean that every Jew sells pornography? Of course not. Or that a Catholic will never own a pharmaceutical company? No. Or that Jews and Christians can’t co-exist? No. It just means we ought to be able to honestly admit who it is who holds the reigns of control, what the ideas are that drive them, and then have an honest conversation about it. Much has been written on this topic. A lot by Jews. Check out ‘Jewish History, Jewish Religion’ by Israel Shahak as well as E.M. Jones. Thank you, again, for the privilege to participate in an honest and safe format. Much appreciated!
When I was young there was a combination of three groups that ran transnational organized crime – The Vatican (Jesuits), the Masons and what I refer to the Irgun related crime syndicate that was primarily Jewish (now evolving into what Cyntha McKinney calls the Ziocon). All of these groups were subject to the controlling force of Mr. Global and whoever Mr. Global works for – which gets us into the black budget and who is really running things and whether we have an open or closed economy. The Masons were much more closely aligned with the Rockefeller – Dulles line. The Ziocon groups was often used to do dirty trick – and their power has grown relative to the Vatican – in part because of their mastery and focus on the IT technology. I have no problem covering any of these groups – we have regularly posted on all of them. I agree that the Ziocon group has become very successful and phenomenally destructive. I do have a hard time saying they are alone. There is a much bigger deeper and weirder story here. From what I can tell the success of the Ziocons very much relates to their leadership using the IT systems and tools like PROMIS to engineer the $21 Trillion out the back door and the bailouts. Given the masons control of the pension system, the law firms, the courts, etc, this would have to be a joint venture. We just posted a link to a story in UnAnswered Questions by an author that claimed the destruction of art was driving by the same impulse you are describing – you might find it interesting.
I ordered some of his books. They are in the pile. Hope to get to them this year.
In the Pile:
Barren Metal: A History of Capitalism as the Conflict between Labor and Usury
The Jewish Revolutionary Spirit: And Its Impact on World History
Michael:
Have you seen this? https://library.solari.com/the-real-deal-on-us-housing-policy/
Yes, actually my recommendation for you, given your background, would be to begin with the Slaughter of Cities. I also think interviewing Jones is necessary. The reason for my vehemence is simple: Solari/Farrell/Dolan and men like Jones, Mathew Raphael Johnson, and Michael Hoffman are holding disparate but mutually imbricated pieces of a severely complex puzzle. The benefits to the bases of people of a synthesis of these pieces would be extremely beneficial.
Did you see the review I published of the Slaughter of Cities. I read and reviewed years ago. Would rather go on to a new one rather than re-read.
Posted to you yesterday https://library.solari.com/the-real-deal-on-us-housing-policy/
Yes, just move on to the Jewish Revolutionary Spirit. Barren Metal is Jones economic treatise which juxtaposes labor based economy like that of National Socialist Germany and the Usury system, which we know from Farrell is Babylonian and heavily integrated with physics and occulted magical systems.
Life is full of coincidences. The WSJ had an article on Black Cube this week https://www.wsj.com/articles/black-cube-the-bumbling-spies-of-the-private-mossad-115607931987 – I noticed it because I was followed when I was in Denmark and for a variety of reasons concluded that the operative involved was likely working for Black Cube. So I read it. They describe a case where Black Cube was hired to run an entrapment on a judge in Canada – the goal was to get him to say or do something anti-semetic, so it could be used in a case where the guilty party was Jewish. They failed. I am increasingly beginning to wonder if the anti-semetic ruse in an entrapment being used by the leadership to target people for a wide variety of reasons.
Has anyone ever written a comprehensive bias FREE tome on the psycho-dynamics of civilizations, and the Jewish people specifically? Not if they’re human.
Civilizations and groups form their strategic living frameworks out of experience and historical outcomes as reference. Historical Jews are no different than anyone else that way.
My issue with most of the “historical” writings dealing with the history of Civilization, Jews, money and power… is there is usually a myopic bias under the veneer of “scholarship” that takes nary a scratch to cause it to gush out what looks, sounds and tastes like antisemitic bias.
We use beliefs to make sense of things we do not understand, and underlying these beliefs are usually seed facts. Any seed of truth can be used to also weave deliberate untruths as well. That is the very essence behind Bernays science of propaganda.
Human behavior is predictable and dynamic. Names, places and specific circumstances change… the locus of human behavior does not.
The story of human beings, what we do and why we do it, provides more than enough evidence for what goes on, on earth, than the cheap whitewash paint job of race based blame. (The spiritual reality truth of humans, notwithstanding)
Yes, discussions about this are hard, because the entirety of it topically is littered with a minefield of hyperbolic touch sensitive mines. Just brush one, and it goes off explosively.
The lever pullers, the .00001% on earth hide very very comfortably within the canard of “the 1 percent”.
We already know, given the makeup of any group of human beings, there are nasty people and psychopaths who hide within the highly charged minefield cover of “antisemitism”.
We should always exercise care in not supporting even the most subtle logical fallacies around race and blame.
One of the things I have always appreciated about your discussions around these issues Catherine, is your care in making clear distinction between political ideology and race.
It’s still “risky” because of the weaponization of language by race hustlers. You are a pretty fearless gal, and in my experience, universally, a lover of people, solely for who they are, and what they actually do.
I have never found one. I have ordered some new ones that David Martin recommended in his book on Forrestal. So looking to read more on both Vatican and Jesuits and Zionists to see if I can get a deeper understanding.
I see each person as unique – not to say there are not patterns of various kinds. However, when it comes to Zionists or Vatican/Jesuits I look at these histories through the prism of pools of capital and risk – and the collaboration and competition among the pools.
I continue to believe that there are third parties of some kind – whether breakways or something non-human that is impacting all of this.
Catherine,
The F-35 goes stealth. In the words of the president they become invisible. It’s a topic to discuss with the Dark Journalist.
Where is the interview?
It publishes on Thursday night
Great interview and thought-provoking discussion. I’m particularly fascinated by the exopolitical angle you alluded to; I think a big part of the invasion of Iraq was for artifacts, and who knows what goodies Iran has.
There seems to be a near manic effort to wipe out history – everywhere. Very frightening. Build libraries!
This was in June.
Interesting that Trump has threatened to destroy 52 Iranian targets. He has openly stated that some will be of ‘cultural’ significance.
https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-threatens-target-iran-culture-sites-potential-war-crime-2020-1
Not necessarily going to happen but the pretext is there.
