Two Documentaries about Weaponized Wind Turbines
In September at Solari, independent researcher Elze van Hamelen conducted a fascinating interview with Dr. Armin Krishnan about neurowarfare and the plethora of neuroweapons with which it is fought. Among other topics, they discussed acoustic weapons, including infrasound—very low-frequency acoustic waves that can propagate over great distances.
Somewhat surprisingly, Dr. Krishnan characterized infrasound as “difficult to generate” and “not very practical,” commenting that “you need large devices to generate it.” The conversation then moved on to other topics without a mention of some “large devices” that are currently harming people all over the world with obnoxious infrasound: wind turbines.
For our Movie of the Week, we highlight two films that emphasize the negative impact of wind energy on rural communities, including harms from infrasound: the Australian documentary Dollars & Destruction: How Renewables Harm Our Farms & Cost the Earth (a repeat pick already recommended last April) and the Canadian documentary Down Wind, which brings home the reality of “lives turned upside down by the constant noise and vibrations” of wind turbines after Ontario rolled out industrial wind farm development.
As an article about infrasound—“sound waves that nothing can stop”—points out,
“[T]he lower a sound wave’s frequency—as is the case with [very-low-frequency acoustic waves]—the larger its wavelength, and the farther it will travel. It will also tend to be ‘blind’ to obstacles smaller than its wavelength…. [Infrasound is] cause for concern on the ground, with the increase of potentially emitting industrial sources—with the notable rise of wind power—raising the issue of the human perception of infrasound waves, along with its potential health effects.”
We would add that Swedish professor of scientific computing Ken Mattsson—who has worked in the past at NASA and the Swedish Defense Research Agency—recently presented a lecture, “Separating Myth from Fact on Wind Turbine Noise,” in which he disputes industry claims that infrasound is harmless. Mattsson suggests that a minimum of 5 to 10 kilometers (3 to 6 miles) is required as a “safe distance” from wind turbines, and he comments, “The larger you build them, the more infrasound you will get.” He frankly concludes that his professional expertise and personal experience have made him “more and more negative towards wind turbines.”
See Elze’s and Catherine’s November 2024 interview, “Industrial Wind Turbines: Renewable Energy or Stealth Weapons in the Omniwar?” for more information about the weaponization of wind energy and infrasound.
